I am sickened by what took place and want justice for the violation of the rights of my brothers and sisters in The Struggle and my own.

I want to clarify that I did NOT enjoy the event in the least bit, but was featured in that portion of the film. I am the student taking pictures, documenting the rights violations taking place. I hope this was an honest mistake because I was at the event in support of the protesters and was taking pictures as a means to observe and document the goings on. I have over 40 pictures which I plan to contribute to any class action lawsuit efforts that progressive student groups plan to pursue.

Most of the scum are apparently Mexican. There are also clearly some white and black scum present as well. There is not enough evidence to indicate whether any gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered or animal-luvin scum are present.

I said the people that yelled during that event were scum. Those people are a mixture of races, but mostly mexican i assume. Racists believe that one race is superior to another. There is no evidence on this video indicating that the cops were racist. Unless you view the arresting of scum who are disrupting a peaceful event racist.

From what I say all I seen was white cops doing all arresting. The on black cop that was there didn't do anything. I don't really think they needed to choke my man up like that. I am MSU Alum. I have seen tons off stuff they let white people get away wit at parties. When we couldn't even chill out on the pourch with out the police threating to take us to jail. Not even being loud. But they let them play beer pong outside at 2am. Come on now.....

It's so infuriating. It does NOT take 8 cops to arrest a student who was not even being violent!
Also, white people would not be so quick to spout off how people should be able to say whatever they want even to the point of encouraging racism and ethnically targetted murder if it where white people who actually had to live in fear of those things. It's easy to calmly talk about racism and murder when you face none of the real, and life threatening affects of those things.

Again, I did NOT enjoy the event at all. This video reawakened the absolute disgust, betrayal, and rage I feel toward the DPPS, the MSU Administration, YAF, and the College Republicans. We must remember that YAF and the College Republicans are united. The actions and inactions of the DPPS and Administration institutionalized hate in our university. I am sickened by what took place and want justice for the violation of the rights of my brothers and sisters in The Struggle and my own.

That's not how things are solved. Your comment is utterly foolish and a gross oversimplification. If betrayed students simply left, the injustices that occurred would never be addressed or dealt with. I have always loved MSU which makes the Administration's and DPPS' conduct that much more upsetting.

I want to clarify that I did NOT enjoy the event in the least bit, but was featured in that portion of the film. I am the student taking pictures, documenting the rights violations taking place. I hope this was an honest mistake because I was at the event in support of the protesters and was taking pictures as a means to observe and document the goings on. I have over 40 pictures which I plan to contribute to any class action lawsuit efforts that progressive student groups plan to pursue.

ALL of us are immigrants, to say "deport illegals" is to say "get out" to all our grandparents and therefore YOU. We can speak freely on utube, however racist our comments are, and we don't have to face those that we try to humiliate. I challenge all of you to speak to those people of color in your classes (hopefully you are in school, otherwise I understand your ignorance) or take a class on sociology and learn about how you got to be where you are through unearned privilege and oppression

I completely agree with spyduster. I'm tend to the side very liberal and I think, as well as some of my liberal friends, that the people shouting are hate groups. You're no better. Everyone has a right to peaceably assemble in this country, and everyone should have the right to speak their mind. Dialog should be encouraged, not this. I have full faith in MSU police. They always make sure that the force is balanced.

Are you serious? You claim MSU is racist and sexist for evicting all members of the audience except for the white males YET you clearly show the minority police officers and female police officers. You also clearly show the latino woman remains in the event. The individuals that were allowed to remain appeared to be the quite nondistruptive individuals. Maybe that's what the police were targeting and NOT the color of their skin?
