Ha! When I stayed in London a few years back, I could hear the Tube underneath my basement room while lying in bed. At first, didn't know what I was hearing but soon figured it out. Cachunkacachunakcachunka... And the morning I awoke to sledgehammers pounding away down the block. Every single day.
