Incontrol can I be the devils advocate of your devils advocate. The structure in which you are being paid and the team your are currently playing for was started because of CS 1.6. Just because your are more popular now does not mean you piss on things that happened before you that you are benefiting from. Where was SC in the USA before SC2 came out? CS was still around.

@Whothehellisme mmmmmmmmmmm, as a whole? Doubt it. Look at korea, WAY more koreans played sc which was a pretty large esport in asia. Maybe in north america more players played 1.6, including myself. I played cs for 10 years and absolutely loved every second of it. But since it's pretty much dead now and the only community supporting the game is esea, i don't see a point in playing anymore since I would have to pay per month.
