I've just downloaded the XNA framework, but I know that MS normal model format for DirectX was .x, there is a 3ds to directx converter in the DirectX SDK(which is free). Good luck!
OMG, dont tell me people have developped that stuff already, i mean i know developing in XNA is quick and easy, but I recognised one of them as a demo that came with the xna software, are the others demos... i guess not but its only been out like 2 weeks

Does anyone know if you can import your own 3d models to XNA from 3dsMAX?

You can use .FXB format. 3D max can it directly.
