using that info, i repeatedly used a stopwatch to time his contact with the ball, and it reaching the goal, which gave me an average time of about 1.5 seconds. so according to this, the average speed of the ball is about 30 m/s, which translates to 67 mph or 108 kph. keep in mind, thats an average speed over the whole distance traveled. the speed of the ball, just after leaving his foot, must have been much faster
