"You're an idiot" "I'm sorry, what language was your comment in? "You're" referring to me as "your" or "You're". Both mean the same "You're" "your" talking about me or my cousin in both comments, referring to us both with either what we say or what we are!! I speak the way i want to speak , and no-one apart from Autority will prevent me from doing so, So you can take your School Antics, and You're TWATTY Grammar from whatever part of the world your from.
@irondowling You're an idiot. I OBVIOUSLY left that crash footage in there for its comedic value, and to demonstrate the fact that you have to do quick take-offs in order to overcome ground effect. You must be a real moron not to understand that. Let me guess, you're ten years old, right?
@irondowling You actually think that my reasoning was that if I crashed a bunch of times, I'd get more views? Really? You are dumb. Also, a gentleman would never use a word like "cunt."
Ok i'm really desperate! Why does not my servo move? I can't return the heli cause it's pretty scratched, and I don't know why the servo can't move! It tries to go left, and it can't, but it goes just a little bit right and left. It won't turn, and I've opened it and I saw there is just nothing wrong with the mech. All the gears are in place.
I'm afraid I'm not the most qualified person to take a guess at that. Have you already posed this question over on rcgroups? 'Cause I'm sure somebody there, who's more knowledgeable than I am, will at least have a suggestion or two. Also, you could try phoning Spinmaster/Air Hogs and see if they recommend a fix. Who knows, they might even let you return it, scratches and all. They probably do understand that any flying toy is likely to have some wear-and-tear from rough landings.
Yes i have. Well I can ask the people in the store, cause I'm in Norway, in Europe. Don't think those guys at the store will take it back after I've opened it. My father saw inside, but we saw no mechanical damege. Spinmaster doesn't have something to do with my tandem. Thanks anyway.
Oh, duh... I forgot you had the Tandem Z and not the Twin Thunder. Good luck with that. If you can't get it fixed, and wind up looking for a replacement, check out the recent videos by NightFlyer. He recently demo'd a very similar helicopter made by Syma, and the price on the thing was insanely low, less than $30 USD. Again, I hope you have good luck with one you've already got!
got mine and it's great! last awhile too on a single charge. need to trim the heli or it will spin out of control. after that it's quite stable and maneuverable. don't give up, keep trying.
Hey, don't feel bad. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that air disasters are an important part of any RC pilot's learning experience*, and you should never fly any model if you're not prepared to deal with it possibly impacting the ground more forcefully than you or the manufacturer ever intended!
*That's one thing we don't have in common with real pilots, thank God!
Here's where you have to be smart: Places like Target, Toys R Us, and Amazon have been selling them for $69.99 to $74.99, but during this holiday season, everybody seems to be having sales, so shop around and you can do a lot better. The absolute best price you'll find right now is on ThinkGeek d0t c0m, where the heli's listed as the 'Tandem Z Chinook 3-Channel R/C Copter' and it's currently on sale for $29.99!
Hey, my pleasure. For the straight dope on any heli you're thinking about buying, I suggest checking out the rcgroups forums, specifically the MicroRTF and Multi-Rotor Helicopter sections. Folks there don't tend to mince words, and they'll give you an idea as to whether any heli you're considering is a must-have or a dud.
Well I guess that would depend on how you define 'precisely.' It's certainly a lot smoother and controllable than the Havoc Heli, though I don't believe either helicopter is capable of traveling in a perfectly straight line. I know there's something inherent in the Havoc Heli's design which causes it to always be turning to some degree, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same holds true for the Twin Thunder. If you want real precision in an indoor flyer, I'd suggest an Eflite Blade MCX.

Naturally, I can't post the URL here, but just Google rcgroups and it should come right up. Highly recommended.

can this thing be flown percisely?
I have a havoc heli and its a pain to try to fly straight
