The Leafs' needed a tougher team, that was their goal this off season and they achieved that. The Leafs' didn't go after those four for their ability to score goals... Also It doesn't matter if the Canadiens beat the Leafs' this season, the Leafs' are in the midst of a rebuilding process. Beating us now isn't an accomplishment.

Tough doesn't just mean they can fight..
Schenn, Komisarek, Exelby, Beauchemin, Mayers and Finger are all great hitters. Orr and Mayers are good fighters and Schenn, Exelby and Beauchemin are all decent. Toronto also has good, two way forwards that can hit like Kulemin, Mitchell and Wallin.
They fact that you named Mara as one of Montreal's toughest players even though he has 2 career fights (both against players under 6 feet) just shows how soft Montreal really is.
