When you ask other Jews and also Israelis to change the way they behave towards Isrealis and take responsibility for their actions instead of just blaming Palestinians for all their negative actions. When a Hamas member will come forward to say I refuse to send missiles against Israeli civilians, to send my children to go and blow themselves up on buses, in supermarkets and discotheques and he can say these things openly without fear for his own life, some progress can be measured. Many Israelis, especially combatants in the army, experience regrets and disturbances about what they may see or do at times believing something is avoidable. He/she is free to say so. War crime? No.
@nevskixx That's a distorted presentation of reality. Blaming Hamas is a way of sweeping the atrocities of the Israeli occupation under the rug. And in spite of all their bloody attacks on civilians Hamas does not rule Gaza in a tyrannic way.
When someone as brave as this man speaks about promoting peace, he should be seriously listened to. I sincerely hope his efforts and activism are truly successful.This wuld be so good for the region and hate can be turned into mutual respect and dignity for one another
