  • even vista is slower than windows 95.

it was soo cool that i'm gonna throw my pc that i'm using out of the windows.

but still windows 95 doesn't have a good looking GUI like windows 7.

  • @MrAntonio6559 in mother Russia, windows upgrades YOU !

  • @MrAntonio6559

you call this "good looking gui"?

  • Even with Windows 95 the P4 is still slow.

  • @MarshallRA I'm still rocking an HP P4 in the bedroom for media...No lag when I select 720p on vids either! Must be the hyper-threading..lol

  • Windows 95 is like: WTF IS A SECOND CPU CORE ???

  • Muahahaha!

Almost a semester of Japanese and I can sort of understand some of the text! :D

  • thumbs up if you noticed a mac os 8 theme :D

  • @crashbandicoot4everr Do you mean thumbs up your ass? Maybe ask in the Steve Jobs videos' comments.

  • My PC boots windows 7 faster that this one finishes BIOS

  • The hard drive /sounds/ to be old.

  • @neoqueto Is that meant to mean something? You should get a refund for those English classes that you took.

  • @SenorCajones You is right. Hurrrr durrrr.

  • WWHOOOOSSSSSHHHHIIIIIIWHOOOOOSSSHHHHIIIINNGGGGIIINNGGGINNNNNGEEECHEEECHEEECCHWOOOOSSHHIIIIIWOOOOOSSSSHSHHINGINGGING

  • Try whit ssd...

  • i dont understand but... thanks god for subtitles

  • LS-120 drive.... their is something from the past that never took off.

  • Ah, back in the days when computers thought out loud.

  • @saxojon this video actually made me miss that! I remember when they used to talk to you!!!

  • Your Bios is fucking appauling!

  • my pentium 3 733Mhz booted windows 7 faster XD

  • Made In China.

  • I feel like I'm back in fourth grade again.

  • I miss having all the text come up when you start up and showing what all the BIOS is doing. Now my lappy just says, "LENOVO" then it starts Windows 7.

  • i love how it says the ram and then ok after ahahahahas its just ok

  • it was cute how you said an i7 quad core 3.4ghz which isnt the fastest intel i7 and yoiu also said 12gb of ddr3 which isnt the most or fastest.. its even funnier that 45 other dipshits actually likes your comment because they ALSO do not know wtf they're talking about.

  • @MultiLokicat Windows 95 will only recognize one core and 768MB of RAM, and the rest of the stuff just wastes power. :P

  • @MultiLokicat well listen to you mr. sophisticated, that person was just saying that how would win 95 run on that spec setup, he or she does not have to think like you and say what you think that should have been said, so who cares what they or he or her say, just go yeah i bet it would run fast at that spec's but you should keep the thought, well i know whats faster, in your HEAD. so please think before you speak, it helps alot. Oh and thankyou for cooperation and have a nice day

  • @MultiLokicat I know it's not the fastest, but I just said that. Do you really want me to say Intel i7 3960X Overclocked to 5GHZ on Liquid Cooling, 32GB of DDR3 RAM and Nvidia Quadro 6000 with 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM?

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 You cannot install Windows 95 on that. Setup will fail as soon as you start it.

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 holy shit....

  • haha try install Photoshop CS5.5

  • 1980s were awesome, 1990s was great, 2000s were okay, 2010s boring..

  • @ibprofin100 2010s just started.

  • @ibprofin100 technology has changed so much and got much better, remember those big bulky phones you carried around in the 80s? big difference there, now we have smartphones that are waaaaaay better than 80s technology, ohh and let's not forget those old tuner knobs on those old tv sets, and now we have smart tv and it's getting better so which generation is better? 90's were ok as I was born in 93

  • @kennysentertainment it wasn't the technology, it was simplicity and the level of entertainment. Those tuner tvs were made for antenna, and had special circuits built in making it pick of analog station better the later model (before airwaves switched to digital). Also they had several knobs, vertical-hold, horizontal-hold, auto-color knob, VHF, and UHF. All directed towards making your antenna viewing experience literally awesome!

  • @kennysentertainment regarding the cordless phones of the 80s, they are way simpler to use than these cell-phone style cordless phones of today. NO LCD screen with menus to go through to set your phone up right. Just plug it into the wall and you're ready to go! Also they were fun over the fact that you could ease drop on your neighbors using those phones due to the same frequencies interfering. Concerning computers, Windows 95 had a simpler way of 'doing thing' regardless of the OS being flawed

  • @kennysentertainment last but not least, Entertainment of the 1980s, and 1990s was better than the entertainment today. 1980s MTV music beats today's music any day of the week, and most of the music videos of the 1980s were child appropriate. Cartoons of the 1980s and 1990s were just entertainment, while today cartoons focuses on educating people.

  • @ibprofin100 dude ur right ! The 80's they invented the mouse and a personal computer, the 90s they made internet for everyone and a very easy and customisable interface, in 2000 they made dual core systems and attractive interface's! 2010, all the same as 2000 .

  • @cyrzombiekilla dual core cpu's in 2000 ? i dont think so..

  • @soloboy1991 dude im mean like 2000's so like 2000 to 2009, they made the duel core in like 2006 or 7

  • @cyrzombiekilla ohh, sorry. yeah 2007.

  • I love that startup sound, why can i here a hdd spining, you dont have a SSD. Of corse it will run on any mainstreem computer.

  • will it play crisis though?...............sry i had to be the first to say it lol

  • wow , i remember the startup song .... omg. good memory

  • Windows 98 will boot much faster, windows 95 is like vista and 98 is like windows 7 :) Try it...

  • Windows XP Service pack 3 on Intel Core 2 Quad with 2 GB RAM boots quicker (I do not count all the BIOSes' POST progresses...)

  • Good demo my friend.

  • this video... if my computer started that slowly and was this slow to run, i would go insane

  • that is awsome. but i would put vista on it.

  • lol fixs your bios setting first lol.

  • still slowly ;D

  • Ha ha, I did this once to a Pentium 4 HT @ 3.2 GHz. 95 didn't use the HT but it sure was funny watching the OS be the bottle neck in it.

  • @Compg3k3 hahaah yea i installed win95 on a p4 with 128 mb ram and it was crazy fast it took about 10 mins to install it to yes i used a 3gb ide/ pata hdd in it lol with an old 24x cdrom drive but hey it was fast as heck i also did a virtual mem hack for it to so that ram wasnt a big problem for 95 u can do the same virtual mem hack for win98 to and it wiil work to

  • lol multi tasking on Windows 95!? Holy CRAP!!!

  • @DaPaRappa Uh, well that was the whole point of 95 really, to multitask. It was the first Windows OS to use multitasking as it happens

  • @VTS1337 I knew that.. I just was being foolish.. I've just never seen multitasking done so efficiently on windows 95... my old PC that ran Windows 95 could barely manage 3 windows without crashing.. usually because I didn't know what I was doing...

  • @DaPaRappa I'm assuming you had chosen Microsoft's minimum system requirements as something to trust on your old PC (386 with 4mb RAM). All minimum system requirements are BS really, as I am writing this on an Acer Aspire 1362LC laptop with 703MB RAM, 40GB HDD and a 1.6GHz CPU, with Windows 7 Professional on. Perfectly usable, however can get a little stressed. And is slow to boot. And has no AeroGlass capibility.

But it is awesome and I haven't decided to go back to XP yet xD

  • @VTS1337 Yep, It was a piece of crap PC. Microsoft's minimum requirements is junk. I notice you can run Windows 7 with as low as 512MB of ram. (maybe lower..) I've tested it on an old XP PC, it runs great.

I have a netbook that has 2GB of ram, the CPU is like yours its clocked at 1.6GHz and it runs Windows 7 Home Premium. It can run Aero just fine, but I cannot use alot of programs at once with the AeroGlass, it slows up a little.

Seems Win7 is about as stable as XP which is real cool :D

  • @DaPaRappa Yuh, this was a 2004 budget option laptop which emphasises the fact that the stabilty is still as awesome in 7. This is because Microsoftz went back to the old Windows NT 5.1/x86 kernel instead of the Longhorn kernel, which gave birth to Vista, which was a fail. Also note that my CPU is a AMD Sempron Mobile 2800+, not the cutting edge in mobile laptop processors. (My laptop was also the first Acer of its era to NOT be sent back to Acer to have its M/B replaced. Then replaced again..)

  • @DaPaRappa ive installed vista on a 20gb hdd on a p3 400 mhz slot 1 cpu with 512 mb ram and it complained about the cpu after windows installed and was running i had a complete useable desktop i couldnt use areo tho as it used a generic driver for my vid card that was only a 32 mb ati agp card but it did allow me to use high res settings and at 32 bit color it also didnt install my soundblaster live sound card either or my dial up phone modem it did install my network cards and got onlin

  • @compwiz878 Thats pretty interesting. I know vista can run on P3's I tried that once myself. It depends on how old the card is, if they have drivers that will work for it. I had an old sound blaster card once and I found the install cd and installed it. The only problem I used to have was that the speaker icon wasn't in the task bar.. i couldn't remember why. I'd still have that old P3 to play around and test stuff and make it crash and stuff if I hadn't trashed it

  • @DaPaRappa the weird this is that computer i stall have it running it normaly runs win2k pro w sp4 runs 2k good and vista good it is a lil slow at times while running vista thats vista home prem but for som reason xp doesnt like that computer for some reason its realy unstable and that with both xp home edition and xp pro it dont make any since .

  • @compwiz878 i also well me and 2 others messed with the old 386's and earlyer 486 machines back when win 3x was popular and win95 was new well we some how got win 3.11 to run windows 95 programs i mean win95 specific programs just by customeizeing an install for win 3.x replaceing 3.x's install files and stuff with 95's install files jst to see wut would happen and it was all done on hard drives no cd burners lol we where amazed at it worked

  • @compwiz878 Don't use xp sp1 lol it's horrible compared to sp2 and 3.

  • @MrTpengineer yes xp sp1 is crapola i use sp2 and 3

  • 1280x1024 w00t!!!

  • @RWL2011 hahahah 1280/1024 yes it is possible ive achieved that setting on windows 3.11 on a p2 300mhz cpu with a pci graphics card and yes i was running win3.11 with doss 6.22 and yes i managed to find the drivers for both dos and windows and had high res graphics capabilities in dos to i couldv went higher on the video settings but the monitor i was useing was only a 1024/768 or so res monitor and it complaines at 1280/1024 settings

  • Try putting Windows 95 on a Intel i7 Quad Core 3.4GHZ and 12GB of DDR3 RAM with a Solid State Drive!!! Haha

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 It is possible, not the 12GB, though. Make that 895MB. :P

  • @an65001 Well...its 32bit so make that 3GB!

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 Windows 95 will not boot with more than 895MB of ram.

  • @an65001 LOL, that sucks. I guess 800MB was like 800GB now back then :)

  • @an65001 That sucks...is is 16 Bits?

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 No, it is 16/32bit, so it has that limit.

  • @an65001 Then why can't you have 3.5 GB of 32-Bit?

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 If you have Windows 2000 AdServer, there is a feature that can make 32-Bit use 8GB of RAM. If you have DataCenter, then you can use upto 32GB of RAM.

  • @an65001 32-Bit cannot support more than aprox. 3.5GB of RAM.

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 If you wanna make Windows 95 work on more than 895MB of RAM, you will have to edit the system.ini file through dos and set under VCache MaxFileCache=521248.

  • @an65001 I don't have Win95 - I used to have a Win98, but I was like 4 when I had that computer. Now it's WinXP and WinVista, waiting for Win8! (I have Windows 7 but never bored to install it)

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 AND you have to use OSR 2.5; that is the only version of Windows 95 that has FULL P6 support, which means it can run on fast processors.

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 You forgot the NVIDIA GeForce 540m or desktop equivalent... XP

  • @redroosterfreddy Haha, lol. What OS are you using now?

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 Windows 7, and some other OS's in virtual vm's. Got this ASUS laptop around 3 months ago.

  • @redroosterfreddy Cool! I'm using a 4 year old High -End (was) Sony Vaio FW. Windows Vista (:

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 Yup , mines high end as well =3

I used to have a vista myself. =] At least with Vista you can actually uninstall internet explorer instead of 'disabling' it with windows 7 XD

You probably have a better screen resolution than I can get too, I can only go up to 1280 x 768 , annoying for games which go off the screen...

  • @redroosterfreddy LOL; I use Google Chrome...I like it more, Firefox is nice too. I have a 1600x900 Display for my laptop...it was good at that time, but now most laptops are 1920 x 1080.

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 That would be 1 or 5 secs boot....

  • @bacovia2004 LOL, maybe! The bottleneck would be the Operating System most likely -_-

Anyways...I doubt Windows 95 will even see all the cores!

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 Lol.Try Windows 1.0 on this :)

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 I don't know if windows 95 would run on anything newer than a Pentium D, It won't address more than 2 GB of memory and might freeze if you have 1 GB or more, it won't boot from SATA drives so you will have to find an SSD that uses IDE

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 coincidentally, I've got an AMD Phenom II X6 3.2Ghz with 16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz ram and am contempalting getting an SSD, want me to try it. I alos have an old copy of windows 3.1 laying around somewhere.....

  • @XboxBasherAvailable I also have a copy of Windows 95 - but my Hard-Drive is failing right now, so I would not risk trying to do anything (bad sectors). I will try eventually.....

(I have a Laptop, so I cannot use 2 drives......)

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 it wont see 12gb of ram

  • @ZVONIMIR111 hahaha,check my chanel,mine bots xp faster x)

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 As someone already said, Win 95 couldn't see the 12GB of RAM, or more than one core on the processor, either. It wouldn't end up being much faster, if any at all than this, and that's assuming that you could even get it to boot correctly on a system like that. The SSD would probably help some, I suppose, though.

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 95 maxes out at 256 ram :P

  • @Kage999 Actually at 896MB. But to make it run efficently you will need to add lines to the system and/or win.ini files.

  • @ComputerBunnyMath123 it can't recognize more than one core, and its maxed out at 768mb of ram.

  • 0:18 SCSI hard drive adapter?

  • thats cool!

  • @undersir 84 blahrgahgh street, mars

    very short

  • @undersir BUY ME THE BEST GAMING COMPUTER IN HISTORY NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Try graphics drivers Vbemp x86 project :).

  • @undersir DO YOU WANT To PAY FOR HIM???

  • lol over 1 min for POST
