I'm thinking about coming to this college .. How far is it from NYC ?

and is it a good college ? As in, are the professors nice and not so strict? Are the dorms decent ? Is there much to do on campus ? And how are the students here? Is there curfew and are there parties as in : Halloween, etc. And last but not least, Is it safe at night ?
