Dude really you should play hockey. You may have to learn a lil bit just because regular skating doesn't involve certain skating moves you do in hockey but otherwise you should be pretty good

ohh okay, after few times of practice I get it now!!!

But I got another question, these few times when I go ice skating, as I go faster and do crossovers, I figured that when I do a right crossover at high speed, when I "kick" with my outside feet (right foot), the base of my skate touches the ground, is that normal? Because everytime it touches the ground, my skate slides and I totally lose balance, what can I do to fix it?

I'm trying to learn the hockey turn, but i can't seem to "throw" my weight into my skates enough, no matter how fast i'm going. i end up just doing a normal turn at low speed. any idea how to fix this?

one of the most common mistakes is not bending your legs (which controls the transfer of weight) not forgetting to leaning on the outside edge of your right boot if your turning right (so your left boot will be on its inside edge)

and if your turning left

lean on the outside edge of your left boot and your right boot should be on its inside edge.

When you perform tight turn try keep your feet a little closer together. You are supposed to be able to accelerate out of the turn by rocking your weight on outside skate from heel to toe and landing on toe of outside skate with first stride out of the turn. In your position you just stop after the turn making you a dead duck for a pursuer. I skate with NHLers all the time:)

out of interest where do u look? down at the ice near ur skates, way ahead (looking up) or something inbetween, so u can sort of see both in the corner of ur eye

By me posting these videos its giving the rink a positive image and also advertising them to a large audience for free, so i get free rink time and also the ice to my self so i can record. im in the middle of speaking to the rinks head office, to make Alexandra Palace my main rink and continue making these videos. I live along way from north london so im not around the rink very much, maybe once every 1 or 2 months as its like 70 miles from where i live lol ! (Cambridge)
