hes not going to build a large ground army and since this map is more marco play he takes advantage of the resources of the nat's he can have without putting too much def on them so putting up alot of sunkens is ideal

he was concentrating in expanding. all he had was mutas so he didn't want to take risk of losing his natural expansion or his main. He had the money to build sunkens and i thought that building ton of sunkens just frustrated anytime even more . He could have done nothing. can't attack or can't defend. can't catch up in number of expansions. I thought that savior played a nexcellent game and is on his way back to where he was.

this game is pretty extraordinary. there was NO big military component to savior's strategy in the usual sense. instead all of his military action was harass and the closest thing to a 'main' army he had were his sunkens.

its interesting to see how totally relaxed savior is as he knows he has a 0% chance of losing and how he realizes that the action that will make his opponent GG is not an attack but revealing that he is putting hatcheries at the last available mineral patches.

Not an impressive win by Savior because Anytime already lost when he decided to build a 2nd nexus where his army couldn't reach it. He went gate -> nexus which he didn't do much pressure in the beginning.

Props to Savior but you can see the difference in ZvP skills between Savior and Jaedong when Savior wastes a crapload of minerals on 10+ sunkens when 5 would have been enough

I think Savior didn't even play seriously from the attack at 11:37 ... and at the time he had 4 sunks... he toyed with anytime a bit, this seemed to be an easy one for the maestro...

However I agree with the fact that Jaedong is a better player at this moment.

Jaedong is the best player alive right now, and as much as I hate to say it, Savior is barely scraping A-class right now. It's been said his practice games are phenomenal, and he did win Iccup last season, but he's yet to show that he can "destroy everyone in 2009."
