  • Great video!!! I am going to try that.

  • Hi! Amazing results! Did u exfoliate the same day u used the oil massages? How often do u massage and how often do u exfoliate?

  • @Snoopygroupie70 hello! and thank you. actaully the instructions on the scalp exfoliator says to massge the oil in. i exfoliate 1-2 times a month. Back then i would massage once per week, but i have gotten lazy now :0

  • Your video was too cute

  • how did you get your edges to grow back? what products/ regimen did you do?

  • @94ashabrown Growing my egdes back took patience. i massaged them, used oils such as rosemary, peppermint and olive oil, and i used scalp renew (scalp exfoliator), i also made sure not to put tension on my edges..no braids, no tight buns or ponytails. also i made sure to use a satin scark every night but loosely tied it on my head. HTH

  • @onlyHEknowsme wow well i will definitely try that cuz your edges look great

  • I enjoyed the video but was very disappointed that the "solution" was soooo vauge...DISAPPOINTED :{

  • I have the exact same problem with my hairline! but it's because I've been wearing it in a bun the past 2 years everyday. will braiding it cornrows make it worse?

  • @Mtrox33224 it can if they are done too tight. yikes! a bun for 2 years...be careful

  • How long is this time line???

  • @Starcasegurl about 2 years..! i know..yikes..long time

  • Wow you did great

  • That is so wonderful! I am happy for you.

  • @blewprent thanks :)

  • The side of my hairline have completely thinned out, I know they wont grow back, tracsion alopecia.

  • @Lazybabyz did you try a Dermatologist?

  • I think also constant wrapping of hair and ponies cause thinning edges.

  • Thankyou so much for replying! I have been wearing sew ends for 7yrs. straight and am now wearing my natural hair (which is shoulder length). But my edges are so thin due to tension from the braids. Your video and progress has enouraged me!

  • @my1mia glad it could help

  • Wonderful progess but your very vague in your response ( no offense). But what type of hair vitamins do you take and how often did you massage your scalp. I heard that coconut oil helps, I'm suffering from the same problem with my hairline. Thanks in advance!

  • @my1mia none taken.. i take a hair, skin and nails multi-vitamin by Futurebiotics.

i've never used coconut oil..so i'm not sure..i was massaging about 3x weekly. I also stopped with the braids and tight pony's. I also think the scalp exfoliation helped too.

  • What did you use to exfoliate your scalp?

  • @NaturalDiva10 i use Jane Carter Scalp Renew. i have a video on it as well.

  • @onlyHEknowsme - thank you. i'll take a look at the video.

  • OMG, I never thought of scalp exfoliation.... I can use my sugar scrub. And I started doing massages. I'm never again buying some "hair growth" serum. You have amazing results. OVer the span of how many months?

  • @quitejaded ok nm, it took you 2 years. I see. :O Well, those are better results than people who just keep slabbin oils on it. So Imma follow suite. It took years to lose the hair so it takes a while for them to wanna come back out. Poor baby hairs :(

  • @quitejaded tru story

  • @quitejaded how is the sugar scrub working in your hair?'

and does the scrub come off easily when washing your hair?

  • @whatoyou Well, I only started doing it last night. I used a sugar & coffee scrub I bought (all natural... I could eat it if I want ahaha). It feels great. The hair did not come out (I saw maybe 1 or 2 that I figured would have come out anyway). The hair is also very soft (for now). I only did it on my temples, so it washed out easily. I am going to do it 3x a week. I also just put Mizani relaxer on it for 5 minutes because if its too curly, it gets split ends.

  • love the music

  • perfect music!

  • Pretty cool!!!

  • what did you do to get your hair back ?!

    ii need the help lol.

  • LOL i love the music! so fitting

  • @Stardae :) thanks :)

  • Soooo encouraging to see this! I just removed braids to find that the first inch of my hairline is so thin :-( I also have some postpartum shedding which I think contributed but I will try the scalp exfoliation and massage. Thankfully I am natural and my twists in the front conceal these horrible edges.

  • yes its crazy how much more sensitive our hairline is, i just wish i knew about it in the past. now i have def made some changes. i'm glad the vid helped.

  • How does your edges look now are they still growing in well?

  • they r still doing pretty good. tho i am tempted to get some braids! i need a break

  • great video!

  • thanks

  • Hmm, for me it would be about changing bad habits then. I prefer out of my face hairstyles and like my braids to be tight. Very bad combo!

  • this is really inspiring. i have the same problem and i'm going through the motions now.

  • Great video its very inspiring.

  • ThANKS!

  • awesome video

  • what have you done to promote this growth? I need help bad, lol

  • you mean the growth of my hair? or just the growth of my hairline?

  • hairline

  • oh ok..there are a few things i did...first i stop with the braids...then i started taking it really easy on my edges..no tight styles. i also realized that i had to stop parting my hair in the front in the exact same area b/c that will cause thinning in that area. As far as products, i have used wild growth oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil. however i'm really not sure if they have helped or not? I also take hair vitamins and massage my scalp.
