I always wondered about the black actors myself. I've recently discovered recently that there was a small black community in Berlin in those days. Unlike the Jewish community (that was persecuted and later arrested and killed) they were left alone to a great extent. I believe they are much more badly treated by the Russians after the war was over.

Im talking about the end of the WWII when the russian(soviet)army entered Berlin. They raped,looted and killed people. They were also paranoid about foreign people living in the 3reich so thy arretsed everybody they could find.
