Yeah, when I came in to the Doctor's office with flu symptoms and neck pain, do you think they would've recommended me a spinal tap and ct scan to check for meningitis if I didn't have insurance? I didn't have all the symptoms, so I probably would've been sent home, told to get rest, and then died of Meningitis in the next 48 hours. Just saying "I'm not gonna buy insurance until I'm sick" is moronic because you won't get the checkups and tests to find out when you get sick.
i think the incompetence in washington is because of organizational problems. groups can either enhance productivity or decrease productivity. the group behaviour in washington is decreasing productivity. this is why congress is making so many bad decisions.

THIS GUY KEEPS ON FLOODING MY INBOX WITH OLD VIDEOS I ALREADY SAW.
I AM UNSUBSCRIBING. I already saw these videos, pal. I dont carew if they are new to you, since you just woke up, and barely know who Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente are.
@January132005 where is your proof? Dont claim that millions of people without insurance LIKE it that way without giving proof. Something tells me you are one of lucky people who dont have to decide between paying $60 a month for insurance or buying extra groceries, putting gas in the car to get to work, paying the bills to keep the lights on or the heat running.
The Senete is NOT putting out this bill...The Senete does nto even know what is in the bill. It is the special that drafted this bill and forcing it upon the Congress.

so where are his options? 10 min. of bitching without a single concrete option. The free market system is not working either. That's why so many people are without healthcare. I'm not completely disagreeing, I can see his points, but I'm not hearing any real alternatives.
You must be a newbie to Peter Schiff and macroeconomics. He has offered lots of alternatives and none of it involves spending more money after bad. The free market system has not been free for some time and the government's involvement in health care has actually driven up the cost of care. Suggest you research Schiff, Max Keiser, Gerald Celente.
@Shameonfed For one thing, Keiser supports the notion of market regulation and strong government legislation against the banking sector; Schiff wants to limit government regulation - though many would argue that the FSA and other regulatory bodies were not policed sufficiently by the government.
it isnt a free market system moron, not when the govt. accounts for 46% of healthcare spending. This is half socialist half corporatist. Pull out a dictionary and look up "capitalism." Capitalism requires free markets which we do not have.
Maybe if you watched ANY OF HIS SPEECHES AT TOWN MEETINGS YOU COULD HEAR HIS "CONCRETE OPTIONS".
You watch one video and bitch, yet you criticize for watching the ONE video where he just bitches. Do some more reading retard
@tirmen8er actually, I have watched quite a few of his videos. I just happen to disagree with some of his assumptions. Which is my right. If you would read my post, instead of being instantly aggressive, you would see that I admitted that I could see some of his points.
You have read one post of mine and already assume i am a "retard". Talking to you is most likely going to be a waste fo time.
So what with analysis do you disagree. The part where healthy wont pay premiums, when like anyone they will be charge the same has someone with pre-existing condition, nor will you be required to get insurance before your sick. The penalty would have to be dramatically scaled & indexed to inflation if the politicians wanted the insurance companies to survive. If the politicians want socialized medicine, then all they, have to do is not touch the penalty.
Peter was even more forgiving in his use of adopting obama solution to healthcare & adapted it to fire insurance. Insurance by definition, is to be covered before catastrophic high risk events.
Let's say life insurance was skyrocketing for many american families, putting undue rest on their life, leaving many without access. Do you then create a bill, that allows any family member to buy a policy after their family members untimly demise, with a penalty of 75$, that increased incrementaly over time to ensure everyone had access to a decent life insurance.
Its' all about keeping the ponzi scheme going. Its' a bunch of crap. Stinky, slimy, smelly, stick to your ass like paste...crap. Bring an extra roll of toilet paper and a plunger!

Pay out of pocket, since you don't have monthly insurance payments.
