I'm a windows running macbook pro user, and my mbp freezes up, refuses to get out of sleep mode, and unexpectedly quits software randomly, plus I can't use a lot of mac software because it is for ppc. I like my computer, but the reliability of it is not nearly as perfect as mac fanboys claim. I've yet to use a computer that sounds as perfect as either side of the argument I precariously straddle makes it seem.

For a lot of computer geeks the whole apple, PC thing is a lot like their highschool experience. geeks vs Preps. The iconography that apple uses in it's comercials drives it home. Most computer geeks got into computing as a method to escape the image driven prep culture. It tends to raise their hackles when advertisers use school yard crap to advertise computers. Well, just for the news: I got a good friend of mine and we both play Team Fortress 2 (great game IMHO) and we kick ass, never experienced a glitch or a slow down of the system in full details.

What's the difference between me and him? I use a Intel quad core with Windows Vista, he uses a Mac, Boot Camp and/or WiNE.

After all there are games that you can run on Mac, even if they belong to Windows. But it's funnier and less complex for them to judge without knowledge than get informations.
