No, I'm saying Dubstep should sound like Dubstep. Not Electro, House, Drum and Bass, Acid Jazz, etc.

Being creative with your music's style is fine, but once it reaches a certain point you need to ask yourself whether its still Dubstep. In Rusko's case, a lot of people mistake his experimental work with his Dubstep so their perception of what the genre really is, is skewed.

Look back at my comment, I never said he's bad I said a lot of music is irrelevant, i.e. its mistakenly labeled as dubstep. His old stuff, and I'm talking the days when he worked side by side with Caspa back in the UK, he consistently produced solid dubstep. Now its usually some kind of multi-genred hybrid. Dubstep influenced maybe, but not dubstep. The problem is the majority of people don't like his old style thats why he changed.

They find out about Rusko and Datsik and think they are dub pros. My favorite quotation of them all is "Dubstep! Fuck yeah!"

I think they both have their place in the scene. Skream's stuff is often very minimal; just beats and bass, maybe the odd synth or sample. I'm a fan of Borgore coz you can hear his metal influence which gives it an interesting sound. But both have their place. No need to put them down..
