I just found this story yesterday. Has anyone looked at the facts on this case? You can read the actual court documents on: free jordan brown dot com. After reading the facts, I'm not convinced that Jordan committed this crime. There are 2 PFA (Protection from Abuse) orders against an ex-boyfriend. In both PFA's, Kenzi says he threatened to hire someone to hurt her. I'm not saying this guy is guilty, just saying that more investigating needs to be done before this kid is locked up.

While there may be no actual witnesses to the event itself, the circumstantial evidence is pretty damning. I don't think there is a question concerning how this matter should be handled. Personally I think both the boy and his father are at fault here. The boy for obvious reasons is accountable and the father should have probably thought out the scenario more clearly before allowing the circumstances to fall into place that would lead to this tragedy. It doesn't seem like it was the wisest decision on his part to provide his 11 year old son with free access to a lethal weapon. Education about gun safety or not you don't allow a undeveloped mind this sort of freedom with weapons.
