  • A typical person can handle about 5 gs thats all

  • @roadrunner304 dude its normal for a fighter pilot to pull 9 Gs. Airshow Pilots especially pull about -6Gs to +10Gs in their aircraft, and they dont pass out...let alone die. Also I have seen one Red Bull Air Race where one of the pilots pulled 13Gs...crazy but not impossible!

  • @roadrunner304 yea without straining

  • and the aircrfaft would been overstressed and the engine would blow up in fire...if those GS you talk about would be used..

  • you wanna fly upside down..you turn the stick all way left to your upside down and than hold the stick forwward so your wing tale stands up...dont drag in back cause then your going strait to ground..

  • i bet they are the best,,,,and these maneuvers are difficult.

BUT,,,not very exciting to watch second time....wish it could be more fun maneuvers. By the way,,,these maneuvers seems so similar to blue angles too.

  • man,,,these maneuvers are boring

they should use f-22 to pump people up.

and instead of 6,,,,use like 20 airplanes. then would be more fun.

  • Considering that the military barely has 50 F-22's, it's unlikely they will give the Thunderbirds permission to use them. The F-16 will be used by the Thunderbirds for years to come.

  • Who lied to you??? There are more than 50 F-22s moron, we have a little over 120 of them built.

  • My bad, I meant to say 150. No need to call me a moron.

  • the usaf bought 93 f-22's, one which recently crashed near base a couple months back

  • dude first F-16's are more maneuverable and how does f22's make it any better

  • 23 ,24 may 2009 jones beach air show.

  • also today may 21

  • To answer the question why the thunderbirds use the f-16 and the f-18 super hornet.... the f-18 is a navy airplane and the thunderbirds are Air Force

  • this is not that difficult manuvers..Infact its very easy..You dont have to be called professional to do that...

  • Have you done any of these moves EVERY in your life???????????????????......If not u can't say its easy just because you played Ace Combat.

  • thats not it there fighting G-FORCES too

  • These pilots rank as some of the best in the world. Usually things that take years of training are not very easy.

  • what this pilots do is not difficult att all dude..its very easy to controll this jets...

  • Id like to see you take almost 9 g's and not pass out.

  • these pilots never fly in 9 GS. if they did they would die...no one can handle 9 GS dude...

  • Hence why I said "Almost". As a demonstration team they might not pull 9 g's...but in some maneuvers I'm pretty sure they pull at least 6. And considering all of them are Air Force pilots they HAVE had to experience 9 g's in the centrifuge...and they clearly did not die.

  • i was there during their performance i was screaming my head off

  • Are you listening to their radio chatter? I read the Steve's airshow FAQ. but is it them or are they in contact with KFRG?

  • Oh it's the team. They would not tie up Republic's tower frequency.

  • all of you people are insane lol. The f-16 far surpasses the f/18. But not the f/18 super hornet.

  • it took me a long time because my mom is like

WE SHOULD USE OUR CAR INSTEAD OF THE STUPID BART BUT NOOO WE GOT THERE BY LIKE 3 O'CLOCK AND MISSED ALOT OF IT

I LIKE THE BLUE ANGELS TOO

    U GUYS ARE ALL AMAMZING

I DONT GET WHY U GUYS LIKE TO JUDGE...

  • Gotta be on the Wantagh Pkwy by 8:45 at the very latest... last year I went with some friends and the Wantagh started backing up at 9 am!

  • Yeah, I get there at 6:15 and lot 6 starts to fill up fast, 6:00 is good because you can settle down, get a spot, and relax and watch the show.

  • i was there =]

  • i like the sound as they pass by its really cool!!!

  • the thunderbirds are the best demonstration team out there!! there show is the best! The cylpso pass is incredible!

  • um i think the blue angles are better b/c there more profossinal and the fa18 is louder!!!

  • what do you mean by more professional...?

  • Also... the F/A-18 is NOT louder than these F-16's... if you've been to both shows you'd know that for sure.

  • Why would they use F-16's instead of FA-18's?

  • cause f-16's kick ass.... xp, i dont know o.o

  • i was there LOL

  • Do you know who was narrating?

  • yeah , idk the thunderbirds narrartor but the rest of the show was Rob Reider

  • they are comming to RIAT @ fairford this year - i cant wait

  • that's the first time i knew when the sneak pass was coming

  • that's cool, since the 4 would usually take off together while the solos take off afterwards, i like how the start off together, and the solos split off to start the show since you aren't at the base and can't see the runway

  • he went to millville on saturday and jones beach on sunday...simple!lol

  • how did you get thunderbirds at jones beach and blue angels in Millville in the same weekend?
