  • its covered from Bjork but its by far not as good as the original

  • Not as good, but still good.

  • i like this version better, i really like a lot of what bjork does but i dont really care much for her voice or musical style. and the drums in this kick ass.

  • Those drums rule. Photo Album era had some great music, I say

  • his voice is not up to the task

  • the most perfect man in the world

  • This isn't bad, but I prefer the Bjork version. For being a cover they did a nice job, and I'm not even a very big fan or Death Cab.

  • came here to down rank, stayed here to hear

    not bad at all...

  • DUMB DUMB DUMB... sorry but a bjork songs are full of immense femininity and really... should not be sung by a bloke!... total fail!

  • I like it, but there's very little emotion compared to the original. The message clearly is very strong and this execution is almost cold.

  • He has such a unique voice but it was

drowned out by the background music.

If it would have been just him and an

acoustic guitar it could have been an

    interesting interpretation of the original

song. His voice reminds me of a singer

from the 80's (?) his name is Al Stewart (?)

did a song called " The Year of The Cat ".

  • @Jewel3636 I agree with what you mean by the background music drowning him. I can't tell what he's saying. He does very well with only an acoustic guitar and a blue spotlight. :D

  • Does anyone know where the video with the two cartooned fish swimming went? hahaha, i loved it and can't find it anymore...

  • i dont get why everyone has to decide what cover version is "better". thats simply a matter of taste. they are both awesome in their own way this isnt a competiton

  • sorry but there's no way the voice is matching how emotional the topic is... I swear I've tried, but his voice sounds just too ridiculous

  • Neither the voice nor the instrumental execution have the spirituality feel going on like Bjork's, which in my opinion, makes this cover sound somewhat... "american white boy childishness". Bjork's spiritual feel is married perfectly to the lyrics in the original song. This one still sounds nice nd neat though.

  • Wow that wasn't expected! That is a very good cover!

  • Good cover!

  • Bjork cannot be touched! But this is a good cover :)

  • You can't compare the two versions..they're special in their own ways. A cover that sounds different is a good cover :)

  • @reea333 Very true. Very wise. Good job. :)

  • It's a beautiful homage to the original, I'm sure even Bjork would appreciate, nicely timed, not changed to shit.. nice job.

  • Its a good mix, but you can't compare Bjork with this. Their both different musically, but the intensity level is still the same. Still, its a good job by dcc

  • just love it!!!!

  • Like that cover. It's hard to do with nearly everything from Björk but i really like this. simple melodic background like the original and somewhat chillin vocals. Vocals are a bit off compared to the original tho but i'm mostly fine with that.

  • You can find this song on some copies from The Photo album as 4 bonus track within

  • i kinda like this much better than the Bjork version... if only for the drums and the guys voice...

but apparently there are multiple versions she did?

  • If you want to hear a beautiful, delicate version of this check out Bitone's version: /watch?v=xb2WGnlP70c

  • I prefer, out of Björk's versions of this song, the one she released in Voltaïc, it was amazing. And then the videoclip version.

I like this cover, it's good. I mean, it fits with the band and what they do, so it's a good cover.

  • mad drums

  • WOW loving this one =0

  • not bad, but the original is in a whole different higher level to this.

  • 0:45 , 1:08 auto tune?? :O

  • from the The Photo Album (Limited Bonus) (2001)

  • Ah, I love this so much. I prefer it to the Bjork version. Death Cab is so amazing!

  • Don't like this as much as the original Bjork, but still pretty nice :)

  • Wow, i was expecting something totally cheap, a lame mutilated version of the original, but they turned this song into something with a whole different meaning and depth to it.. i like this cover..

  • theyre really good!, the only cover i disliked is "this charming man"

but this is a excellent cover :)

  • the drumming is just stupid show off crap. doesnt suit it at all

  • @danccaddy As a drummer, I would have to respectfully disagree with you. What Michael Schorr is playing here is first off not that difficult. Second, it fits the music beautifully. All three of Death Cab's drummers have had a way of playing beats that would normally seem out of place, yet somehow match the music perfectly.

  • It's like my two favorite artists had a baby. A damn beautiful, talented, bright music baby.

  • It's a cover from Bjork. I didn't even notice they did a cover until a few months ago.

  • Its Bjork - All is Full of Love, from her fifth album, Homogenic. Pretty decent cover considering the complexity of the vocals.

  • BJORK!!

  • Ok its true they arent as good as the original artist but really, how could we expect that I mean Bjork is second to none and her skills cant be matched,We must give credit for a wonderful cover they have made because they did put there hearts into it and you can feel it,I am a Bjork fan,She's my favorite artist and I can appreciate this cover.

  • broke (L)

  • I like this version and the Bjork version almost equally. It's just a wonderful song. My favorite. <3 So strong.

  • @MissVelveteen Bjork version is better no matter what :P because she did it originally, bjork can't be matched by death cab.

  • @Mightypoo007 your tasteless if you dislike this cover.

  • It is a Bjork cover, and I know it is on The Photo Album (2001) japanese edition as a bonus track (or iTunes)

  • its bjork

  • I've never heard this one before. It rocks!!!! What album is it????

  • I think it's from the 'Stability' album (2002).

  • @starlightloser it's sadly only an ep, but it's their best work ever, in my opinion

  • @starlightloser It's also on the Photo Album Japanese edition as a bonus track.

  • @starlightloser Its actually from Bjork "Homogenic"

  • @starlightloser its on the photo album and the stability ep

  • @raggamuffins13 The stability EP

  • i love u too

  • @raggamuffins13 it's a Bjork cover not sure if it is on an album

  • @raggamuffins13 The Photo Album as well, in case the stability ep is too hard to find

  • @raggamuffins13 It's from their "Stability" EP.

  • @raggamuffins13 its from the photo album bonus track .. originally writen by bjork

  • Great song! Must have!!
