This is basically the shearing off/splitting (dissection) of the wall of the main pipe (aorta) coming off the heart. Has a mortality rate of about 1% per hour.
This is not a TEE. This is TTE - TEE is when they go down your throat with transducer to take images. This is a regular procedure where the transducer is placed on your chest and causes no discomfort.
Dont comment on things that you obviously know little about .1. Have a look to the right of the computer screen it actually says TEE. 2. Look at the imaging frequency, how many regular TTE performed at 7MHZ - None Most importantly look at the orientation of the cardiac structures displayed in relation to the probe. ie the atria are closest to the probe, which means that the probe is situated in the oesophagus (unless u scan patients transthoracically by putting your arm down their food pipe)
@bigdaddymeloncamp very good bigdaddy. kurac you are completely wrong. and i can even tell you that the procedure is done on a acuson. i think it is an aspen because color imaging isn't as good as sequoia.
would have liked to visualized the ostia of the RCA a bit more.
