Yep! Yep! I can add an additional endorsement. I've got the transparent red OSC. It's now July 2010 and these aren't showing up on that auction site as frequently. Guess dealers have flushed 'em out of inventory. Great ash body, maple neck, twangy to the max. I'm *really* thinking about adding a Bigsby to mine. Rock 'n Roll!
I have 2 Hohner Guitars: Hohner st 59 Professional (Maple body, fingerboard, very, very dark rosewood) and Hohner st special professional (body of plywood, one piece maple neck). Excellent guitars, better than Fender produced in Mexico, I compared (in the shop tools)
I just bought an OSC Archtop II this afternoon at a pawn shop for $100 out the door, with a gig bag. It's got the flame maple top with a natural satin finish and is jusst beautiful. It sounds pretty good, but it will be better when I get it set up.
i have that same exact guitar i got on ebay for 160 plus 60 for case free shipping great guita rand since they no longer are made they may go up in value right??

Hello i am from amsterdam Holland
and i just bought a a Hohner ferari ST
when i bought it for 150$ it was totaly out of
tune and bad intonation and verry high action and as you mentioned
i had to adjust the guitar by one of the best professionals which cost me 150 $
i know thats alot but but it was done by the best and done right in one shot
and because of that guitar is better than my
800 dollar guitars
So what you are saying is true
you can have great quality for way less

Exactly. A good initial set-up is all you need and you'll have a great (cheap) guitar. Thanks for the comment.
