People have to understand that the actors do what the directors tell them to. In BOF, LMH was told not to open his mouth in their kissing scene and to just place his lips softly on hers. The director said "cut" a couple of times until he did it they way the director wanted him to. I saw it on the out-take scenes on the drama dvd's that I bought. KHS could very well be very passionate in her personal life.

Having seen her in some of the variety shows i think she's a bit reserved, maybe shy, but Asian dramas in general do not have a lot of kissing scenes, not like here in the US, and their culture tends to treat everyone as family so I imagine that for a lot of the younger stars it is like kissing a family member which would make it awkward even if it is fake

She is a "proper" girl--even though the other women in Yunhu's universe seem to be trying real hard to prove Gukhwa is a tramp. I think her behavior is a nice juxtoposition to Yunhu's tough and kinda polished-yet-streetwise persona.
Sure, she's a proper girl from the country. I hope most Seoul-raised girls don't peck like that. I don't live in Korea so I don't know for sure and unfortunately I won't ever get a chance to find out. The other girls don't like her because they can't figure her out.

Yeah--that is "strange" by American standards, but in a way, I like that I don't have to endure annoying simulated sex scenes--like in American soaps. It's kinda sweet...and romantic.
I'm curious if Koreans are really shy about kissing in real life or is this just the way dramas depict them. I always find it funny that in dramas Korean couples always suspect they're being watched by other people if they decide to hug or smooch in public. I think to myself that these watching people should get a life of their own and don't concern themselves with my love life. A tender kiss is hardly simulated sex. I hate American soaps.

Well, I've seen a few Korean movies and have seen some pretty sweet kissing action. I find those petite Korean female mouths very attractive. I've never done a study of kissing styles around the world, so maybe various cultures have different styles of kissing. You got me curious so I guess I'll pay more attention to Korean dramas in the future.
in most of korean dramas are the kisses like that, but please it doesnt mean korean people cannot french ... hahahaha. In some dramas you can see good scenes kisses like in Goong, or Que sera sera.

you know i watch this movie up to epi 100 only on dvd. I rented from the video store and I thought it was the end of it. no wonder why I thought to myself that there should be more of it. heheheh!! I'll enjoy watching the rest of it. It is a funny story.. thank you....
