New discrimination against Californians. Chancellor Robert J Birgeneau ($500,000 salary) displaces Californians qualified for public university education at Cal. for a $50,600 payment and a foreign passport. Need for transparency at University of California Berkeley has never been so clear.

Public education is a joke, abolish public education and deregulate the market. The free market can provide less expensive and higher quality education. Public education cost so much because it's a failed monopoly that demands a fix high price, to run business rather and a fluctuating price, where poor people can always go to the competitor and get a lower price. No great thinker or inventor went to a public school system like ours they where all home schooled(or some kind of church)!

Damn Berkley Loons, if they think they are pissed now, just wait until there are wefare and food stamp cuts. Listen up people there is NO More Money. You can't blame the rich and oil for everything. Funny thing is most of the students that Graduate will become the priveledged and will never talk about why they don't give to the causes they championed in school. Hope they all get arrested and expelled. Then there will be more room for the minorities that they love to use when it suits them.

Crush the unions! They are the problem, 50k average pay for CA public school teachers k-12 much much higher for universities and tenured. They have summers, weekends, holidays off! Then retire at 55 to receive up to 1.5 million plus in pay and benefits! They are sucking all the money out and not working we can't afford to hire new teachers because of the greedy corrupt Teachers Union! Down with Unions! Allow Free markets to be free, vouchers for private schools, more charter school's. NO TENURE!

I attended a protest March on 4/15/11 at San Diego City College were I guess Gov. Jerry Brown addressing an issue students was disclosed to even restricted on campus.But it was less than a hundred protestors. It was like"WOW" people don't care. It's Sad cause it's the people who allow it and then cry about it. All love...
