@vt006 cole will be missed as will deco. ballack has no heart to play and i would have sent him packing last season. we have ramires coming on, plus the usual suspects from last term and at least three or four young ones who are really stepping it up. kakuta- under 19 man of the tournament for france. sturridge, malouda, ashley, a fit essien, possible neymar (not sure if he is needed) this week...

should i go on? united is gonna feel it this year!

@brownONE416 hmm i agree with most of what ur saying but i think ancellotti doesnt give too many chances with the youngsters if anything sturridge hogs it and the rest rarely get a chance because we have the likes of zhirkov who doesnt start the game. this season will be good lets just see how well it carries on :P

@vt006 yeah i hear you. carlo does like to play the older ones mostly but i think he makes good decisions in who he starts and how he plays them formation-wise. i really like sturridge for his pace and dribbling when things are slowing down. bring him on and things pick up immediately. i don't rate zhirkov that much. he shows quality sometimes but ashley is much more skilled at both defending and pushing forward. i think this will be an interesting year with some tight matches.....

Ramires should be good this season and lets see who pushes through to the first squad although i was sad to hear about a youngster sam hutchinson retire. i thought he was the one to watch. Well lets hope this season is a better repeat of last season and lets go for the european glory :) hopefully our souls of chelsea will be essien and lampard

I've got no allegiance to Chelsea, but I think its fair to say they deserved their "double" success. Considering the fact that the PL crown has had more or less permanent residence in the Old Trafford trophy room since the formation of the PL back in 1992, it made a refreshing change to see it end up elsewhere. Hopefully this will set a new "trend" in that the PL title race becomes a bit more open, which is better for the game really.
