  • Some people have been pointed out that the North Korea leg of the relay had no protests. Also in North Korea there is no freedom of speech, no freedom to leave North Korea and they are also a communist country. It was great that the torch went to North Korea but they barely mention the Olympics in North Korea. It's sad but it's true.

  • One world, one dream, fuck Tibet!

  • When I see the live Olympic Torch telecasts in North Korea and Thailand I feel happy, because unlike the palefaces, Japs and non-Chinese Asian viruses the people there are friendly and are not inclined to cause any social disruption or any embarrassment to their leaders by immature public behavior.

  • You know what would've been a truly symbolic gesture? If a torchbearer ran from Seoul toward the DMZ, and simply walked across the border to North Korea, and hand off the flame from there. I think a moment like that would've made the Olympic torch relay a little more Olympian and symbolic.

  • and historic

  • good comment

  • in North Korean language Tibet is called 서장(西藏,the Chinese way)but in south Korea it's called 티뱃(Tibet, the English way)S.Korea is just a dog feeded by U.S.A.

  • Yes Human rights to Tibet!!!

All supporters of Dalai Corporation (the official group name of Dalai) pls donoate your skin and limps to Dalai as they need them for their birthday celebration etc (consult records by western historian in Tibet before the liberation army liberated Tibet in 1950s). Only by following practices of Dalai Clique then you can show you truely support them, not just trying to gain some public attention.

  • and please become slaves

  • The Beijing Olympics will be a great success. China will win plenty of medals. After the Olympics, those free-Tibet scums will disappear. China will continue to bring prosperity to the Tibetans in Tibet and the Chinese people. Tibet was, is, and will always be a part of China. Long Live China!

  • thank you

  • Boycott the olympics. China is evil.

  • ignorant shallow generalisation...

  • Let me re-phrase for you. The Chinese government is evil. Tibet ring a bell with you? No animal welfare laws, no enviromental concerns, and least we forget they practice predatory capitalism.

So yes, I say boycott the Olympics. And please don't refer to me as ignorant and then mispell Generalization.

  • generalisation is a correct spelling buddy...only the americans spell it with a 'z' I wasn't educated by an American so spelling it with a 's' is perfectly correct..just like how americans spell color and the rest spell colour...now would colour be wrong? No way..

as for boycotting the olympics...it's a shame that you can't separate sport and politics and as for Tibet...have you been there? do you know the situation that they were under? I've researched about Tibet..so I know more..

  • Some people (particularly airhead Americans) do not know that 'generaliSation' is British English.

They forgot where their language came from.

  • let me re-phrase or you-All governments are evil and politics are evil too...so by specifically pointing out that the Chinese are being evil, that's generalisation (yes..not with a z but with a s..all correct)

as for Tibet,it rings many ay bell.I visit that place every two years and do research there..so I know a lot more than you.

  • I read your profile...you have balls to admit your racist. But you want an apology from Japan and at the same time it's okay for what China is doing to other countries? How about thier involvement with Darfur?

I don't hate the Chinese people, thier culture is rich in history and they truly were the first to have modern thinking. However I do not agree with you. If China wants to be apart of the world economy, they will have to become a good world citizen.

  • I don't have anything against you pal...don't mind being friends with you but for the whole china thing....I really want China to close its doors to all foreign countries and want China to mind and fix up our own problems...that's what I want...a closed off isolated policy that way...we don't upset you guys and you guys won't upset us...wouldn't that be great?

  • Agreed. Very well said my Asian friend. Good fences make for good neighbors. I will try to get some alternate news and opinion other then what we have been bombarded with here in the states about Tibet.

  • thanks...it's always good to know that you are even willing to go and find the other view...you don't have to agree and I'm not going to force you..no way! but as long as you are willing to take that step to challenge your own thinking then you are on your way to sainthood..

I say good fences is needed but a gate must also exist so that we can still see each other and give a kiss...a handshake instead of finger pointing and girly slaps

    cheers pal! god bless

  • if you are going to boycott the Olympics..make sure that during the few weeks...don't read or watch anything to do with the olympics...and no I'm not going to call you an ignorant hypocrite because you already all one just like me ( we all are)...

  • WE, people on earth, showed our emotion of PRO TIBET because of demanding from our heart. The Communist Chinese: Students and Spies showed their brutal reaction as FUCKING WORDS and THREATEN to revenge toward all protesters because of demanding from COMMUNIST CHINESE 'S FOREIGN SECRET SERVICES. That is the difference between CONSCIENTIOUS( HUMAN) and UNCONSCIOUS persons. You can see that!

  • I wish Western Media can give PEACE a chance.

The world has enough problems as it is: Food shortage, global warming, looming military alliance in S. America, dropping house prices in the US, devaluation of US dollars etc. You want to add more?

Housing prices in San Francisco dropped 17.2%.

US houses dropped prices 20% on average.

Can protesters help? How about devoting more time and money to solving domestic problems?

Cut funding to: Dalai Clique, Amnesty International etc..

  • US people dreams good in their fake demo.

and still think other ppl want to go with them.

    Lol...

Yea... Maybe Yakuza will do that...

They are like dogs which show allegiance to their US law and snarl to passers-by.

    Lol~ Such a harmonious family...

    Lol~

  • china needs peace, but if you riot ,we will be same to you.

  • how ironical it is.

  • china gay

  • In korea war,the US army like dog, LOL

  • Do you love peace or do you prefer chaos?

I surely love peace. It is indeed refreshing to see clear sky for a change. No more provocation from insensible protesters. No more little guys trying to break through police lines to steal some limelight. No more

pretentious Westerners playing big brothers/sisters for exiled Tibetans. I don't think people can earn respect by having others fight their battles.

Anti-Chinese groups will lose steam. The torch will be in friendlier territories.

  • What a peaceful life is living under totalitarian regimes, Isn't it?

  • oh yeah..our living standards are improving...can't help it

keep on being racist and anti-china...wateva

  • wow north korea is scary everyone is like the same, I'm glad the torch is out of north korea.

  • Strong? Letting a dictator use your entire country like little monkeys to dance for the only country that tolerates your horsecrap is strong? Don't have any food, have to depend on the rest of the world for handouts, but they have money to throw these huge celebrations? Yes, North Korea is very proud, obviously it's their downfall. All that so one guy can live his excessive lifestlye while they all suffer.

  • The only reason North Korea is poor because Western countries and their satellite countries (South Korea & Japan) are hostile to it. North Korea became dictatorship and militant because they need to protect themselves against those countries mentioned above. If Western countries know how to co-exist with countries with different values to them, the world will be a better place.

  • you are right!

  • I mean, siuwed, you are right

  • I love North Korea, they are really strong. No protest or stupid people stopping the torche as in South Korea and USA. North Korea people know how to be serious in this kind of circumtances.

  • Why don't you tye a good knot with THE ONLY ONE FRIENDS you still have on earth by going and living there? Oh sorry I forgot BURMA and SUDAN.

  • Viet Nam people !

Do not follow the DPRK way !

It became a dog bred by China.

Remember Viet Nam - China war in 1979 !

China killed Viet Nam people to support the mad politician in Cambodia at that time.

    Don't forgive PRC !

    Defeat Chinese Empire !

  • several was putting up the china national flags. who were they? the real chinese couldnt have done that.
