I hear this now, and everytime since the first time...I'm the little kid back in my prairie hometown..it's green, small and I am totally unaware of anything sad or dangerous in the world. A song can be like a magical time machine for the mind....thanks to the writers and perfomers here.
Kathy Mattea's voice is like home. She has such an inner beauty and grace that she puts into each of her songs. I am so proud that she is a fellow West Virginian.
