  • Merry Xmas 2010 !!!

  • Hi, you are very talented, what program is it?

keep uploading your material please, its a pleasure to see it

  • thanks for the infos, awesome work !! 10/10

  • Do you need a tablet or u can simply use Autodesk sketchbook on Windows ??

  • @bobbyyy007 Let's put it this way. I like using a pen when I draw.

  • @idmars10 i cant afford a wacom right now, but i did like Sketchbook, thats why im asking

  • @bobbyyy007 Any drawing program without a tablet is limited to what a mouse can do.

  • THIS WAS TOTALY OUTSTANDING!

  • These are really awesome , and you are becoming my inspiration!!! I've always wanted to draw as awesome as you but I'm not that good =(. But... for a 13 year old... I think I'm pretty good ! =).

  • @mjarboy Hey. Thank you very much. Just keep practicing. At 13 I was only starting out also. :)

  • Great Ian. Reminds me of the evening you sat down in the hallway of the 2nd floor of the Culver Hotel ; And drew the Poet on a piece of abandoned board resting against the wall. It took about ten minutes to leave your mark there. Recorded on film... I will retrieve it from the out takes. --rbc

  • Haha. Those were good times! Yes I would love to see that footage. Maybe I can upload it to Youtube?

  • Maybe I can upload it, or make it a DVD extra ?

  • Yeah, either of those or both would be really cool! :)

  • I like the expression on Rudolph's face.

  • NICEEEEEE LOL PRETTY LONG THO :P

  • Thanks! I guess it's possibly long, I don't know, I don't usually time my sketching with a stop-watch. When it's printed one never sees how long the artist took.

  • true true :] rlly good job tho

  • you're goodd!

  • Wow, that's really good. :)

It's very detailed. It looks like you drew it with a pencil.

I found out in your other video that you use a cintiq.

Wish I had one. I just have a wacom bamboo drawing tablet. But I do plan to get one once I get the money for it.

  • Thank you. Yes Sketchbook Pro has a very realistic looking and feeling pencil tool. This is one of the main reasons I like to sketch in it. Before the Cintiq I worked with Intuos and Ruby tablets and loved those too. Bamboo is very good also. All the best. Ian

  • You're welcome and thank you for replying back to my comment! ^_^

  • thumbs up. i love how you drop the lining .

    great one on this.

  • great job. cintiq rules!! proud owner :)

  • great. but i notice a driver problem which i also had experienced. when it works right, the cursor for the pencils changes is a more un-obstructive point as opposed to the generic crosshairs you are seeing. it provides for a hugely different experience. i'm on XP so can't say how to fix that on a Mac so just letting you know that a few tweaks can make it better.

  • Thanks. You can actually pick from a variety of cursors to find the one that you like working with.

  • This is great. I have two questions. Is this program one that can be used on a Mac? And how did you do the filming?

Is it something you can do in the program?

  • Hi - yes, it can be used on a Mac. (I work exclusively on Macs). The screen capture program used on this video is called Snapz Pro from Ambrosia Software. I used the free trial download and liked it very much - it is very flexible.
