TOTALLY AGREE!!! they said Maryam the one who started it out. She's the one made fun of her own accent few times saying "whaatt??" so they follow her joke & joked about it too. They are not really mocking at her. if she didn't started it they probably wouldn't do it because it would be horrible. it's the same as Nikita made fun of her new bangs first after makeover. after that a girl made fun of her by putting a plate on her head as a joke, not as a mocking.

@kklimosko For this show, maybe appearance wise but other than that, most of their personalities were horrid. Out of all the Top Model shows i've watched, Canada has got to be one of the bitchiest. Which really disappoints me since i'm a canadian myself and i know the types of people here and this show simply does not show them justice. Looks like CNTM specifically went to search for girls with bad personalities just so the show could get high ratings.

it just proves that it's not about skills but how u fit in with the rest of the industry...skinny...and blonde~while she is pretty, she doesn't have very much versatility in her facial expressions thus u see her once u've seen it all except for changes in outfit.

Yeah, that's true. The other girls couldn't fit in that Versace dress, though. When it comes to modeling, it's about the clothes more than the girls. Can't fit the clothes, they'll find another girl. Also, the fashion industry doesn't really care about facial expressions range - that's more for beauty shots I guess. They're going to have 1 ad for a certain outfit so they just want your best expression. I think CNTM made a good choice over picking a girl who wouldn't fit the dress.

Yeah that's right. It's just so contradicting because in an earlier episode the girls were interviewed during a fashion event about why it's important to be skinny as a model and Jeannie praised, I think it was Nikita and Meg, and maybe someone else, when they answered it's not. I guess the world is full of saying one thing and doing another :P

Yeah, Heather's answer was right but Jeannie acted like it was wrong. The fashion industry doesn't want models to be a size 2 because they think it's beautiful, it's just because they want to make all their clothes 1 size (with range sometimes) and not use a lot of fabric. I think they were just trying to promote that's it not important to be skinny but the reality of it is that mostly tall, skinny girls are models and it's not representing beautiful, it's just fitting the clothes.

Interesting point~ I never thought about just wanting to make one size- the smallest to save costs and time. But the designers' target market is not solely on skinny girls, since many non-skinny girls also would have high disposable income to purchase, thus u would think the industry would take this into consideration.

I agree with you. Although I do find that for runway dresses the sizes are always 2 while for the lookbook and ad campaign's they have size 4 dresses. The dresses that are usually featured on the lookbook are the ones they're trying to sell to girls since more of them see that than a runway show. This yellow versace dress that Meaghan wore is a runway dress.
