I learned what was needed to accompany a sax player. I posted my take on the intro because I thought other beginners (like myself) might get something from it.
@thomascray Don't get me wrong it's awsome that you have posted this. Actually i've learned this from you so i guess thanks are in order. I didn't knew about this song till hearing you :-s but i love it. Hope i'l be able to make the rest of the arrangement for the guitar. I don't have anyone who plays a sax so... ya:( too bad i guess :)
Hmm I liked this! Great job dude! Thanks for posting :D
And for all those people who say this sounds like blues, that's only because the work song is based off of the F Blues scale. Very fun to improv over on sax:)
Hey, I've been looking for that kind of string muffler for my L7. Can you tell me what it's called? Do you know where I can purchase one to reduce feedback?
@thomascray a few drinks an d herb fucks me up... lol. wot i meant is the music chart is for people who can read music.. i cant.. so i was lookin if u did tabs for this....
Make sure you hit the minor notes whenever they're present, especially the Eb in the Fm chord played at the beginning of several measures. That makes a big difference.
Been looking for a link for this tune for ages, seems no one has ever done a structured 'lesson' for the 'Work song'. Thanks for your post though, it's a great vid to work through. Keep it up!
Excellent. Just what I wanted. Thanks, bro. Highly appreciated :-)

Where did you buy that van ep's string damper? I've been looking all over for them. Nice playing, by the way. simplicity can be beautiful as well.
