last summer my friend and i caught a 41 in. northern pike in my lake... with a bass lure... do u have any tips of what we could use to catch another pike without risking the chance of having it snap our line?
Walley and pickeral are the same. A chain pickeral is different, almost looks like small pike. The difference between walleye and pickerel are that americans tend to call them walley where as canadians call them pickeral.
Pickerel are in the Pike family. Walleye are in the Perch family. Some folks use different regional names for different things. My crazy relatives in Ohio called Green Peppers "Mangos"?!!!? I asked them what they called Mangos and they looked at me like I had a Pickerel growing out of my forehead.
@milldabeast519 they r in the same family, they r different fish. on is a pike and the other is a chain pickerel. they have different patterns and pike get a lot bigger.
Hali Jigs work good fish them all the time i get a lot of crappie and perch once in a while a small pike and bass not yet to get a pickerel tho nice vid btw
ps thats not a walleye its a pike you should switch baits my freind try a buck shot green smallest one you can get you will ctach all the fish in your videos
they are not the same thing, a chain pickerel is not a pike. there are seperate size requirements and daily limits for pike and pikerel. Absolutely diferent fish. Do your homework.
do u think that this area of lk hopatcong still has thick ice and what area is it. im planning to go fshing ths saturday afrer the coldfront so ice can get thicker.

Most videos get ruined by bad music selection. Most would be best with no song. This one however, was a very wise choice in music. good job.

Pickerel refers to any fish in the Pickerel family - aka Pike's and Muskie.
A common term for Walleye is "pickerel" but this is scientifically incorrect. Walleye should only be called Walleye ;)
