people keep saying there is a program that turns your face actions into animations... well i dont know about that but you can download face poser, a free program included with the source sdk that you can download via steam. learn that and you can make cool lip syncs like that too...

That was great, but it got me thinking...What if Dr. Breen was just the G-Man in disguise? It sort of makes sense, and I think there are some parts in HL2 that imply it.

(About G-man being Breen) Half-Life 1 says otherwise. I know, it's very confusing, and at first, many people (including me) thought the G-man was the administrator. Breen was not in Half-Life once. He was introduced in Half-Life 2 as the original administrator of the Black Mesa research facility (before the entire incident.) And Breen was trying to have Gordon eliminated when Gordon was working for the G-man, who is against the combine, not with them.

Although some things suggest he is the antagonist. Why else did the Vortigaunts release Gordon from G-Man's control in the Half-Life 2 mod, Episode 1? Time will only tell who the G-Man is and who he works for. We can cross out the fact that he's Gordon from the future (although they have some simularities, there's too much else that says he's not the G-Man) I, for one, cannot wait to find out who he really is.

I havent played episode 1 yet but, why is the game called half-life? Gordon must have been brought back to life after HL2 for episode 1. Maybe its some sort of Matrix theme, for all we know Gordon could be some sort of lab rat or something to prepare him for something big. G-Man could be some sort of Operator of whatever system Gordon is, testing to see how he reachs to different things. *Shrug*

As I said, nobody really knows.

If you played the first Half-Life, things would seem a little more clear. Don't play the demo (Uplink) because while it's good, you won't get the back story of Half-Life. Since HL1's pretty old (1998) you can now get it for about $20.00 or perhaps less.

But HL2 kinda threw things off for me. While I've never played it, I did look up on the story, and there's a lot of things I don't understand, and the Episodes only throw me off more.

Also, somebody's working on a revised Half-Life (the first game) for Half-Life 2. Maybe the team working on the project will find a better way to connect the events from Half-Life 2 (and its episodes) and the first Half-Life together. Not to mention, you'll be playing an advanced version of the first game.

I've played the first and the second half life...but havent played episode 1, the addition to half life 2. You need to play half life 2 man, its incredible. I won't spoil it for you but the ending leaves little room for the survival of both gordon and Alyx. You only see G-man at the beginning and end of the game. Which is where I derived this simulator type outlook on the game.

I ran this game for the first time with an AMD 1800+ XP CPU, 256MB ram, 64MB Nvidia GeForce Mx400...runs smooth at 800x600 resolution with medium settings lol...My bro was playing it on an old celeron 800Mhz CPU..though I wouldnt play it at that level..so you might have the specs.

Half-Life Source is just a crap engine upgrade for goldsource (the original HL engine). You're thinking of Black Mesa Source, which totally recreates the first game in beautiful detail.
