Plimsoul is one of the best sounding overdrive pedals that I've heard to use with Stratocasters but they sound good only for blues rock with Fenders, thus a one trick pony all in all. I'd like to see a video proving that I'm wrong though :/

Wow finally a pedal that does overdrive and distortion. OMG Mike the Fullclown has done it again. 20 YEARS AGO Boss released the OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion. It is literally an SD-1 Super Overdrive and a DS-1 Distortion pedal with a blend control to select any balance of either circuit.

yeah, but the os-2 doesn't sound good! i own one, and it has bad frequency response, a tone knob that leaves the pedal either with too little presence or too shrill treble, and a gain range that gets too fuzzy too quickly.

Wild, a two stager with a distortion indicator. Getting one distortion to drive another can take some tweaking, and having that indicator makes it easy to see which stage is doing the work--very convenient.

my stack is an OCD v4( Vol @ 130 / near 1 on tone/ Gain @ 3:HP mode) into a Keeley modded BD-2,( set for Vol boost, Little/No gain)
