I'm not ashamed to say that this song makes me tear up. Recently I had a quite ugly falling out with a "more than friends" friend. Not long after the words "never speak to me again" were spoken I realized what went wrong, and saw what she was trying to do, but by then it was too late to repair things. Anyone who says the lyrics to this song are a bit weak have never had to be in that position, and I hope they never are.
