My concerns are more centered around economic collapse or hyperinflation in the USA. I believe the Mayan Calendar will have nothing to do with the end of the world. We are in the information age and we can know more about what is going on in the world if we choose to search it out. As a result all of the negative knowledge we accumulate grows and spreads like a fungus. I suggest a simple food pantry of 6 mos to a year for any troubles ahead. This has always been wise. Preacher

HI, UV filters are good, they do work, but do take power! so to save energy things like slow sand filters, reverse osmosis, but this wastes alot of water, or simple 5+ stage water filters. I'm building my own using pvc pipe and various material mediums, gravel, sand, charcoal and silver, silver is natural antibacterial, will do a video on the system as and when its complete.

@falprepped I agree, we all need a healthy level of fear to understand the situation, if you know your enemy and know how they work and have that helthy level of fear that keeps you motivated and on track, its a good thing. But to be fear driven and to only concentrate on the negative side of things, never to see a solution to the problem, that is unhealthy and damaging. We are not as unarmed as you may think, all you need is knowledge and your free mind, mas is resourceful.

@sabuomarrr1 Well, we dont have martial law in the UK! If things are fine then things are fine, I hope to high heavens that i'm wrong and that things are tuely fine, I really do. But as it is, and how it looks, I cant see things being that smooth, and only see things getting bad, we have European and global financial melt downs looming, they may not happen, and I hope they dont, there are to many realistic things that could affect us all. But i hope nothing ever happens.

@lisaloolibell HI, I dont know of any books, but there is all the info you need here on youtube and the internet. a small system is very easy, a larger 10,000 gallon system will need a bit more work and refining.

Fish is not a bad idea. you should look at crayfish and minor insects like Amphipods as feeding for the fish, they should be easy to keep.

hey,nice vid as usual. cant deny i do like a bit of doom porn! :) i find it intresting to watch and hear peoples interpritations of whats going on,we have all the chemtrails,solar flare,NWO,planet x, population kull ect going around youtube. to be honest it was this kind of stuff that got me into prepping, im not fearfull that the world may end in my life time or not but i think its doom porn as you put it that can encourage people to start prepping as a passtime.kind of a 'what if'
