r u using xp black edition? i got the same problem too..i'm already fix it..but still no sound when i play the music or some kind audio..i check on my device manager and it show my sound card..i dont know what to do..got the same problem like others when downgrade my vista to xp..

All u have to do is go to control panel, then sound, it will show no audio devices installed, right click in that field, it will show u what has been disabled, which will be ur speakers and/or ur headphones, just click on it and enable them again...THAT IS WHAT WILL WORK.....NOTHING ELSE WORKS!!!!!!!!!!

sound max for xp realtek for vista and 7. when you wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows xp you will always have to install a driver program

just download Ac 97 audio driver you can find it on google... most of the time it works if it's compitable with your soundcard... peace

first step go START=> RUN=> msinfo32
second step when system informations open go components => sound device
LOOK AT STATUS YOU MUST DOWNLOAD DRIVER wich write there!
