  • Okay, so we have to sing this for District Chorus this year, I'm trying out but I don't think I'm gonna make it, what Am I to lose?

    Well, besides 6 bucks. .:P

Btw you guys sang this very well :)

  • I like this for a small group. I do prefer a little bit slower tempo though. Nice job guys!

  • So many of the phrases are clipped!!! The tempos are much too erratic. Kids did a great job though. Conductor on the other hand....much less impressive.

  • overall really good. But sometimes you didn't cut off together and you didn't get back in together which is not HORRIBLE but since you got to sing at CMEA I think that should have been better.

  • awesomeee guys!

  • Wow great job guys. I liked this version. Only thing I would comment on would be the the beginning. You can be soft and strong. To me it sounded a bit weak in the beginning. But other that that it all came together and it sounded great!!! By the way the girl on the far right on the bottom row, looks real good.

  • Well..you all look good and sound great!

  • i enjoy the fights within the comments that all choral freaks have over a song. it happens in all my videos from chamber choir too.

lol oh people if you could just be happy and listen to the pretty choir.

very nice job. this is such a fun dramatic song.

  • it's more hilarious since i posted this video up a while ago and snarky comments still manage to come through. thanks for the comment!

  • lol i know. it's like.. just watch the video and listen. congrats you sing too... not everyone needs to know.

lol i like the ENUNCIATION. mad good control too.

  • you are too kind!

  • i try i try.

  • I remember Mrs. Olson saying you guys sounded good in this song. I also remember agreeing with her when I heard you in concert. :)

  • didn't like the "T!" on the end of "whaT a morning", wouldve sounded better if theyd ran it on, but good effort newayz...

  • it's called enunciation, something most choirs have a bad habit of not doing. we were able to win first place with all honors.

  • look, don't talk to me about enunciation; I'm a vocal teacher, and several of my students just received their Grade 7s and 8s (all with merit/distinction) so don't teel me about how to sing! xP

  • yes well, to each singer to their own teacher i guess. your choir is amazing btw, i looked at the video on your profile.

  • enunciation is not what the people who wrote this song had in mind. pronouncing hard consanants is totally unstylistic to this piece.

  • Or make the T into a d, like whada morning, as apposed to whaTa morning.

  • my choir is singing this tomorrow for a 9/11 presentation. but a lot slower. we do soooo good. except we're all white, and this song is like meant for black people to sing. but we sound amazing. great job.

  • lol it doesn't really matter what ethnicity you are. good luck.

  • hahah what the heck my choir did too?? haha =] for saugus high school haha

  • lol it's a popular song to perform i guess then.
