Here's what you do, mod the xbox, find a local area trading site, I use craigslist. There's always someone who doesn't care for live, burn some games and trade xbox's with someone who wants a modded xbox, and you get your unbanned xbox.

There isn't meant to be a code for console banning. The Customer Support for Xbox tells you to go to the Xbox Forums and ask them there, that is how they give you information on why you were banned, they prob didn't ban you for nothing.

Guys Guys, i had the same problem. Woke up one morning to find that my xbox is banned for no reason. Submitted an email to microsoft bt they didnt tell me the reason for getting banned. Reasons why a ban could occur.

1) Repair by non official repair shop

2) Pre-owned formerly modded console

3) Unfortunate but ending up with a shops working return where a modded takes the console ID or internals leaving the banned internals in the new console and claim that the console has a defect, shop then tests it gets no defect so resells it as new.
