If you can't play an instrament, then play the african gourd. It has these rods you hit with your fingers to produce sounds. Just come up with a kind of drumb beat patern for the four bars (pegs?) and people will think you actually know how to play.

Well, these are electric "guitars" so the body doesn't matter its mostly for length of the string I'm guessing, the only reason it has a tin at all is because the sound needs to vibrate to a peizo on the inside of the tin, and there needs to be a place to attach everything to play it. probably would sound differnt if you used different materials or different sizes.

bro i make guitars for a living... Guitars have frets... they make the 12 tone chromatic system of sound that we know as music. When he used the lighter (a form or a sliding fret) it made a form of a fret often used by blues guitarists and some others (country for example). However.. the player must be used to the scale length and know where to stop (like on a violin), he did not... but he was showing you how to make one.. not play one.
