I really had to chuckle at Greg's take on Jack's dad and imagined childhood. I grew up attending church, Sunday school etc., with the Coleman kids, of which there are quite a few, all brilliant, beautiful, or both, with excellent manners. Jack's dad, in spite of an eerie resemblance to HRG (or vice-versa) was a distinguished college professor (brilliant, of course, shy, mannerly, and with a sweet sense of humor. If he's still with us, he's probably getting a real kick out of HRG.
