@Dabber422 I Probably spent close to 1500-2000, put it in myself, tuned it myself. Spent 3,000 on a built transmission that lasted me 1800 miles and the trans shop went out of business and my transmission broke -_-
@StickMechanic yea.....i hear the g6's 5 speed will bolt up, then you can get the pedal n stuff with it....might be a little more budget friendly.....hell you could go all out n tub and RWD it....theres a GT 4 door on here that has a 5.7 Tpi Horned into it.....
@drivebyknights 14.013 @ 103 mph with no first gear, slipping 2nd to 3rd and 4th, with a tremendous boost leak on 4 psi spooling at 4500 rpms, this car got potential just havnt had the time to finish what im doing now.
i was gonna say im pretty sure your gt would beat the ss... have you ever used the Low -2-3? that way you would be in one gear without having to wait for the car to downshift and you can break boost
@shonzy7 that was same day i did run with srt4... that srt4 stomped that cobalt by 3 cars... but i had a issue with leaking oil everywhere when i got back, fixed it and raced srt and beat it, cobalt kid didnt have much gas thats why we didnt run again
