  • Great quality!!

  • this brings back so many memories! thanks so much for the upload*

  • Hi Kristen!

  • Genial!!, muuuuchos recuerdos y un amor platónico de niño ;)

  • I'm not sure who was my actual first love, Holly or Agt 99...

  • That's some top-notch special effects right there

  • Comment removed

  • The effects are so real.

  • Sid & Marty made some of the craziest shows. Look at how that crazy dinosaur looks at the screen at the end of the opening

  • This show scared the living shit out of me as a kid. I couldn't not watch but still... flashbacks and everything

  • I enjoyed this show growing up. Awesome show. Love the opening music!

  • I forgot there were banjos in the land of the lost...

  • Use to love this show as a kid.

  • I find it really annoying when people who have never taken acid talk about what it's like to be on acid.

  • I wish they kept this show going

  • Wow. We were pathetic back then.

  • I was 3 years old when that came out, that dinosaur used to scare the CRAP out of me.

  • good tune....come on holly lets go!!!

  • The last part of Grumpy turning, roaring and eating the camera (breaking the fouth wall) gave me nightmares. LOL as an adult, see how silly it looks.

  • Even while I watched this as a eight year old kid in the 70's I couldn't believe how cheesy this was! (And I was pretty cheesy for watching it. Or bored.)

  • Cheesy, but awesome in this own right... Great stuff!!!

  • Marshall, Will, and Holly

    On a routine expedition

MET the greatest earthquake ever known.

    High on the rapids

    It struck their tiny raft.

And plunged them down a thousand feet below.

  • @randy77tx Thanks for clarifying that. :)

  • ...on a routine expedition that the greatest earthquake ever known??? high on the rapids it struck their tiny raft??? what kind of grammar is that? these hollyweed saturday morning guys were sure rapids high.

holly on a expedition? doing what? what a riot!

  • @bluetortilla Ha! You know, I'm starting to think that maybe these guys WERE doing weed when they came up with these shows.

  • @casestudyification Yes, they were HIGH on the rapids in the LAND OF THE LOST lostlostlost

  • I liked season 2 the best because of the episodes that the Zarn was in. The Zarn and his pet...Fred...Ha Ha. "Say hello to Fred"

  • hah hah. i just the will ferrel movie and now get it.

  • i can't help but wonder if that combination of banjo picking and a raft adventure was inspired by "deliverance."

  • I like how the t-rex just sits there, missing every chance to eat them, until they run, and then it runs after them.

  • 0:10-0:24 is hilarious

  • my 12 year old daughter is laughing her head off at this

  • This show was made in the 1970's, but even by 1960's standards the "special effects" are a joke. Though, I but this would be a great commercial for the idiotic "Creation Museum" in Tenn.

  • @Timbrock1000 Some of the effects are bad, yeah. But keep in mind it was a kids show with a shoe-string budget. All the jungle and dino effects I thought looked good. If you've ever watched the show, there's a lot of detail in the jungle long-shots. Those are all miniatures done by an asian guy. It must've took him forever, but when his work was chroma-keyed with the actors, I thought it looked good. The show had some good sci-fi stories and was a lot better than the 90's remake and movie.

  • Where's the iPhone version dammit?!!?

  • dude, these are hilarious!! saw this in webmovietube

  • is this real?

  • @TheDeceptabot yes! REAL!! NOT A JOKE!

  • Good Memories ;-)

  • i love this show evan though im only 11. i saw about 5 hours of it because i dvr'd it because they had a marathon. i love the dino - evan though he looks like clay! :)

  • Oh man this is the most 70s thing iv ever seen.

  • I thought this show was kinda dopey. The funny thing was that it was my parents who watched it every Saturday.

  • Fun times

  • love how they go over the waterfall, and stay stationary in the dingie, instead of falling face first lulz!

  • The person playing the fiddle during this intro once beat the devil in a fiddle contest. I think his name was "Fiddle McGhee".

  • @d21lewis I thought it was Charlie Daniels.

  • @MRDJBUNZ That's a common misconception. I can't blame you for making that error.

  • loved this show. sitting in my pajamas eating captian crunch. sleestacks scared the crap out of me. saterday mornings in the 70's were great

  • @hoover321f & Quisp, Count Chocula, Trix, Kaboom, Fruity Pebbles. . . I don't know if it was the sugar overdose or Sleestacks that gave me the nightmares?

  • @BlindWillieJackson And lets not forget FREAKIES cereal

  • @hoover321f I agree! Knowing the kind of technology that was available back then, I'm, STILL, amazed at the "vintage" special effects! Also, in my opinion, whoever was "in charge of" or responsible for the Tyrannosaurus' "growl," did an EXCELLENT job!

  • WOW! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I grew up with these shows.

  • When I was younger I saw a couple cartoons about an underwater city called the Land of the Lost-where all lost items end up.I later learned the cartoons were based on an old radio show.Nowadays when I say Land of the Lost, most people only think of this Junior Jurassic show.

  • Alex was one slow assed T-Rex. Becouse the martial family was supposed to be a snack from day one.

  • @qualified2work I thought his name was Grumpy.

  • This is another show I grew up on. The part where the boat goes over the huge waterfall used to scare me as a child...I loved it. Not to mention the groovy Sleestacks. :)

  • duelling banjos, cutting edge special effects, back in time premise, saturday morning childhood special

  • Please bring this back on Saturday mornings!! Not just for my kids...me too!

  • i remember this!!!

  • lame

  • I think the special effects budget was around $35.75.

  • This show was well written for a Kids show in the 70s.Especially since most of the Krofft shows were acid trips. This was watchable for adults as well.

  • i remember watching this show all the time as a kid and being sooo freaked out by it... it gave me nightmares... yet i'd have to watch it again a day later... i hated those grotesque freakin' slee stack... they remind of boy george (now THAT is scary)

  • So funny, this use to be my favorite show as a kid. Good stuff!!

  • lol

  • LOL! its the tidy bowl man!

  • Cheesy special effects;but a classic nonetheless!!

  • oh my gosh so many memories! SO FUNNY! I had to watch it cause my brother liked the dinos! =)

  • I had a MAJOR crush on holly.

  • wow.

  • SO. FUCKING. TERRIBLE.

  • 0:38 who da fuck is that? Al bundy?

  • Comment removed

  • @Terrigm45 GTFO you fucking sicko! you pedo!

  • I don't remember the banjos...

  • Kathy Coleman actually grew up to be Hot..who would have guessed that?

  • Um, when is the last time you saw her?

  • In the Dvd release, the extras have commentaries and interviews with the cast.

  • Who is Kathy Coleman? Is she the braided girl?

  • @Terrigm45 There is only one female in the show, dude.

  • As a gimmick, he had himself billed as simply "Wesley" in the "Land of the Lost" (1974) credits. This ploy hardly worked as it was intended to; in fact, Eure regrets the effort to this day.

    Sure he does...

  • my mom said that the special effects were wack back then for land of the lost.

  • Sleestacks would freak me out and send me hiding behind the chair.

  • special fx were still pretty limited up until lucas did star wars - that was the big leap. As for satruday mornings, it was about the budget, done as cheaply as possible regardless of what was available.

we were sure into though! When your 8, its like your on acid all the time!

  • i love it! That were times. ;-)

  • this is just awesome, there is no words to describe it

  • CLASSIC.

  • Cheesiness sells in TV. I know they had better effects than that in the 70's.

  • I love this classic show I used to watch it on Saterday morning TV! Those were the days! :)

  • I agree! Thank God this T.V. series is on DVD! I'm 39, and I, STILL, find it entertaining!

  • This show is exactly like being on acid.

  • @Eidelmania

That is a very interesting inturpritation! I have heard similar things said about the "Magic Garden". Anyone out there remember that series?

  • @Eidelmania what do you think the writers were on when they thought about this show?

  • It looks exactly like the trailer for the upcoming movie.

  • @Thamnophissirtalis its the old tv show intro dipshit

  • @eatthinkblink I know...

  • ahh...the good ol' days of super-cheesy special effects..... :)

  • classic but not realistic at all!

  • "Starring WESLEY as Will Marshall"? Bet that one-name thing ended real soon.

  • ...made it real hard to cash his paychecks!

  • @digitaldave1234 That's the dude that invented CHOMPS, the robot dog. That was back in 1979.

  • lol @ miniature intro

  • brings back a lot of good memories. Thanks

  • I remember this show! It was better than the remade one a couple of years ago!

  • classic
