This was actually not a bad game, as long as you ignored it as a sequel to F.E.A.R. and enjoyed it on its own merits.

It had some awesome lines for Paxton Fettel, some creepy level design (well...it's more of a hit-and-miss thing), and I had fun.

Project Origin's still loads better.

Well, I like it because it shows some having to fight replicas and ATC and all that crap, yet fighting alma and her stuff as well. I mean, the only thing I never liked about the first f.e.a.r is that it was like nothing happened outside you and the point man.

This game was good because, it was showing normal people (not super sons of alma) having to fight everything. Like Chen, he may have been killed in the end, but he gave one hell of a fight, he didn't just die.

Fear 2 ignores the 2 expansion packs. They are not required if you don't want them.

The only 2 that matter are Fear 1 and 2.

fear 2 it too easy even when play on hard level to last boss still compleat game in 1 day i think in fear perseus mandate have the hardest enmy like nightcrawler first they very fast and can kill you with one head shot and jump in air while trow the grenage when you run or hide and they have much hp even shoot shotgun in they head still can't kill them in one single bullet some part 5 of them come to you in one time it like you fight with hardest bot of counter strike

About a year ago i instaled fear perseus mandate demo on my laptop and it went fine almost everything on max and NO lag. now i instaled it and it doesnt even execute. though i have reseted the windows once. and there were some changes like earlier pc didnt load crysis now it loads it on low

What difficulty is this?I'm playing on the highest difficulty and if you go face to face like this even on slomo a couple of shots will kill you.This game is too easy at the lower difficulties.I like the game .

Not really, the AI on F.E.A.R is so \amazing that it's near impossible for someone to play through without using Reflexes

Yes but the problem is he uses refexes with every enemy even the single ones.

i only use it if there are more then 5 enemys or those big walking tanks

and i used it with those strong nightcrawlers

The slow motion ability is a key mechanic of the game, why would you not use it? If you took that out the only thing preventing this game from being just another FPS would be the horror elements, and it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

the graphics of F.E.A.R perseus mandate are worse than F.E.A.R and extraction point. If u dont believe look at the guns of fear ep ( and fear) and perseus mandate. You will see that the guns of fear and ep better are in the light than perseus mandate

I can understand why the critics would consider this a mediocre game as it brings nothing new to the F.E.A.R franchise, but when it comes to me I don't really care if a sequel a prequel or an expansion really isn't any different from the previous titles. I've played the demo on the PC and enjoyed it so I'll definitely for the 360 on F.E.A.R Files, as well as for the PC on F.E.A.R Platinum Collection. just in case.

The "ghost stuff" is involved with the SP narrative and has no effect on the engine. You could use the ARMA engine to make a ghost game. You could use a tactical grade military simulator to make a game for children. The application is irrelevant, the engine itself is very realisic. Slow mo isn't realistic, but slow mo can be disabled so that's a moot point. FEAR engine is one of the top notch realistic fps engines to date. Judge a game by its engine, never by how the devs want you to play it.

Im sorry but that is complete crap.

Doom 3 was based on the original game, it didn't need a story, it was you vs a horde of demons.

F.E.A.R has a story? Don't make me laugh, you blatently haven't played through them all, Perseus Mandate has no real relation to the first two games apart from '' more shooting'' which is not a bad thing and the first story wasn't upto much.. Extraction points story ended in the most proposterous ways possible.

Sorry, i didn't mean to offend you.,. i got doom3 too, but i like the older doom games better, and the first F.E.A.R game too. it was exciting and stuff. the graphics in these games never gets bad, but it gets boring just shooting everything moving. well, in some games. i guess half-life isn't one of those.. hmm, i like the first F.E.A.R better.. but i think doom is supposed to make you shit yourself and laugh at the same time. the weapons are amazingly fun:)
