Unfortunately, Mr Gove doesn't seem to have a qualification in logic. If giving schools freedoms leads to a rise in standards, why doesn't he give ALL schools freedom. Most of the constraints on schools are set by the Government.
He also lacks a commitment to democracy since he believes that forcing schools to become academies is acceptable. Where is his evidence that academies have improved education - they haven't. They have however wasted a lot of money.
Just giving his rich mates a chance to make more money. Like his boss theprime minister giving bankers 1million pound bonuses today.
