People that lighten there skin mainly do it to fade acne mark , sun spots and correct uneven toned, you're skin is literally perfect. I do understand the point of your video and it was a lovely poem though, myself personally I hate to go to a music video and see comments outraged about how theres not enough representation of dark women.

When it comes to this whole skin lightening thing, I think girls of all colours need to look down on it and laugh because it IS stupid.

I mean the eyes are the windows to the soul. My white, blue eyed boyfriend tells me how he loves my brown eyes and my olive skin, and I'd never bleach, tan or cover my colours. I'd never cover the windows to my soul with coloured contacts.

Beauty can be accentuated.
