The wing seat is a pretty good seat, unless at night, when it is just awful. There's this light on the wing that flashes every two seconds which makes it very difficult to go asleep. Even if you close your shade, you can see it through other peoples windows. X P

it is a myth. they just say that because they don't want people filming things, writing emails, or listening to their mp3 players when the pilot slams on his breaks and calls for an evacuation because he sees smoke in the cockpit.
