That is good that you still love your stepmom even though there are things you don't like about her. That is the way I feel about my stepmom. She is not mean, but we have a lot of philosophical differences. Do you like your stepdad? As I have said before, if you took a poll of all the kids whose parents were divorced and remarried, an incredible majority would say that they liked their stepdad better, I believe.
Susan Sarandon was amazing in that film. Perfectly acted out. The daughter annoyed me a little bit but I guess that's what you would be like if you were that young.

I guess not many like their stepmoms. The environment into which a stepmom steps in is normally hostile. The stepmom will have to exhibit very high standards of understanding and patience. Not all stepmoms have that ability. Afterall they are humans, aren't they?
That is very true! And, I think that a big reason is that there is a lot of jealousy between a stepmom and her stepkids. A big reason is that a stepmom often gets spoiled rotten, very possibly because the father doesn't want a divorce to happen again. This makes the kids jealous. Then, when the father wants to really do stuff for his kids, the stepmom, who is used to getting spoiled, gets jealous.
And, like I have said before, a father, when he has a second(or beyond second) wife that he loves, it seems like he sometimes forgets about his kids from his previous marriage(s). This especially happens if a father starts a family with his wife.
I like my stepmom. Like DaKiwiz3 i live with my mom and my stepdad but my dad and my stepmom live in the same village. I visit them very often and we're like a big family...my mom and my stepmom like each other and we even go on holidays together.
I can talk to my stepmom if i have any problems like I can talk with my mom.

Almost always, the woman has nothing to do with the initial success of the man. And, often by having this wife, a man shows off his financial success. This is called "conspicuous consumption."
Good job! You told the truth how you felt about your trophy-wife stepmom! I think they suck, too! I have one, and my dad treats me like a lame duck when compared to her. Oh well! Life isn't always fair!
What a great movie! However, I will say one thing! Trophy wives suck! They get so spoiled by their husbands, and the husbands often forget that they have a first family, too. My dad has a trophy wife, and I laugh my head off at times!
