I'm new at this...Is it okay if I scan my drawing and do then paint in a photoshop? Anyway I like to know what photoshop should I use for this....

which version of photoshop isn't the issue, the main key is knowing how to blend and use color. i'm using photoshop cs. im planning on buying cs5 soon. :)
