@aviatech22 I was not using any exponential and I had no dual rates setup. I was getting maximum possible throw on cyclic.

@wingswest328  thanks for the response how about your gyro can i use either normal mode or headlock mode avcs when doing flpis or inverted im flying heli since feb i practicing circuits and orientation on my trex 450 and 500 but doing 3d on phoenix sim at the moment maybe give it a try next month pls advise ion gyro mode pls thanks

What the pitch curve and trotller curve normal and stunt ?

@Robsonbest I was running 0-25-50-75-100 in Normal Throttle curve, 75-75-75-75-75 in idle 1 and 100-100-100-100-100 in idle 2. I was running 15-33-50-75-100 in Normal Pitch Curve, 0-25-50-75-100 in idle 1 and 0-25-50-75-100 in Idle 2.

It was O.K It reminded me a lot of flying in idle up when I was learning. Try more tick tocks and auto rotations upside like they do in 3d comps. 7/10 promising

Yeah the camera had a lot of trouble keeping up with his incredible flying skills but I have a feeling that saying "needs to somehow keep up" is probably a lot easier said than done! Amazing to watch.

hey i have a trex450 too, i bought the aluminum rotor head and tail block to replace the stock, other than that they're all stock. im a noob so im learning how to hover.lol already crashed once. 5 secons of hover and then crashed.

i bought this motor for the 450 pro 6/09and the main shaft broke on its own in flight 8/18/09. the heat of the motor caused the shaft to brake at the bearing beware fellow flyers.

if your flying hard 3d it would be good to change out the motor, this motor gets hot to fast and buffs your batteries. it would be perfect with an out runner motor.

If i have been flying an E-flite cx2 for a while and want to get something better, is the trex 450 a good choice?

invest on a simulator first. E flite is a Toy compare to 450. this heli can have an RPM of 2400+ that is dangerous.

The stock setup that align gives you with the kit. Its a GP750 and ds520.

The motor does get warm but not as hot as the older motors. it has a lot of power.
