The Donnas define the term 'rock band' in the classic sense. They really remind me of AC/DC: they've put out a string of great albums; they tour relentlessly; their music is basic, fun, hard-hitting rock; their sound evolves with each album but the core elements remain the same; they're pretty modest and low-key in interviews; and they're "real!" They never try to look tough, angst-ridden, pop-queen or whatever. This kind of honest, kick-ass music will outlive all the crap that surrounds it.
